Mr. Benson will never intend to solve your case. Instead, he masters detailing each and every either major or trivial issues and steps to lengthen the time, milking the case in a ridiculously slow motion. Making it worse, he stopped responding my calls/emails when I started to ask where is the time balance statement he promised.



Now I know, even before my first court hearing, he already charged me 7 hours just to "understand" my divorce case. On the day of my first court hearing, he talked me into believing he needed more time to look at my case so he would be able to get a better deal for me later. So instead of having a hearing with the judge, he became a "friend" of my ex's attorney, and they spend nearly 4 hours that day at the court, drawing a temporary stipulation for us before we all went home.



After that, the nightmare only started.....In short, after numerous emails/texts/calls, I finally got a response from him and received his first balance statement, his log shows he already "worked" 21.5 hours on my case. Only issue for me: my case is still nearly at the same place ever since I hired Mr. Benson five months ago: nothing really started, he still needs more information from me, he is still "working" with my ex's attorney, he is still teleconferencing with the court clerk......I have no choice but to fire Mr. Benson as I am afraid my divorce would never settle with his "work" style.
