Jobs at Costco for Hispanics only.

My husband applied several times for a job at Costco in Van Nuys, and Reseda. However, it appears that if you not Hispanic you will not get even an interview, not mention a job. This is not right.

You get what you get and you shouldn't get upset. I cannot believe the rude comments by others regarding Costco. Yes, not all the employees are customer friendly but I would not pin point it to all the Hispanic workers. Really people, get over yourselves. The meats are choice, the specialty items are fun and useful. Found Built brand neoprene lunch bags with included snap lock containers for $14.97! Online and elsewhere they are at least $20. Love that you can throw the bag in the washer, hang to dry and it is as good as new. Would not have thought to buy had I not seen them at Costco. Do your research. Wired ribbon has tons of yards and is another great deal. The trick is trying not to spend $500 each time we shop!

Make a list, stick to the list, don't buy things that are not a true bargain. Don't look around when you first walk in, that's where all the shiny big ticket items confront you. It is a warehouse shopping experience, but they do manage to slide in a lot of products that are not at warehouse-friendly prices. I pay attention and have saved hundreds of dollars over the year on coffee, frozen blueberries, facial products, meat, bread, deoderant, etc. Love the $15 sweaters. The stores may be crowded but they are always clean. The new store in Pacoima is not as crowded as Glendale or Burbank.

This costco is much like many other costcos. They have a gas station and an outdoor food court. The parking here is hard but you will eventually find a spot. They are conveniently located near many other large retailers, such as Best Buy, Ikea, Lowes, Target, and many other stores. Costco is great place to buy produce, electronics, and maybe even some clothes. This is a great costco.
