CLEAN FACILITIES, THEY PAY YOU REFERRAL BONUS OF $100 AFTER THE REFERRAL DONATES 2 TIMES,AND THEY PROVIDE YOU WITH A PLACE TO CHARGE YOUR PHONES WHILE YOUR THERE. ALSO, YOU COME IN, SIGN IN, AND CAN TAKE A SEAT UNTIL YOUR CALLED TO THE COMPUTERS INPUT YOUR INFO. AFTER THAT YOU CAN SIT BACK DOWN UNTIL THEY CALL YOU UP FOR SCREENING. i STOPPED GOING TO OCTAPLASMA ON VAN NUYS BLVD BECAUES A FEW OF THE STAFF WERE RUDE, AND LIED A FEW TIMES. THEY DONT HAVE A BONUS FOR REFERRING PEOPLE JUST SOMETHING THAT ADDS UP YOUR VISITS AND THEY SCREWED MINE UP 2, AND I NEVER GOT THE BONUSES BECAUSE THE CORPORATE OFFICE DIDN'T WANT TO COMPENSATE ME, NOR DID THE REGIONAL OFFICE. ANYONE LOOKING TO DONATE PLASMA WOULD BE A FOOL TO GO TO OCTAPLASMA BECAUSE THEY WONT LET YOU CHARGE YOUR PHONE,SOMETIMES YOUR STANDING FOR 45-1HOUR, AND THEY DON'T PROVIDE REFERRAL BONUSES & THE RESTROOMS ARE GROSS

Biomat on Vanowen is a lousy plasma center. Yes.. they do pay once you jump through all the hoops (one time told to bring this kind of proof of address... then next time told that one isn't allowed and so on... ) but they treat you like a disposable resource rather than a human being. Rude staff, poor flebotamists [if you let the iodine dry it doesn't burn your patients arm...duh] and arbitrary registration processes....I highly, highly suggest anyone looking to donate go somewhere else.

First time at Biomat and let me tell you that this place is truly the best. The doctor along with all the staff are very professional and courteous. The Facility is very clean and organized as well. I donated Plasma at OCTAPHARMA which was HORRIBLE. Biomat treats every one of there donors with Love and compassion. Highly recommend this Facility. They have my love and respect:)

I went in to donate plasma today for the first time, and it was wonderful! I went in, signed in, did some tests, got a physical, and waited for a chair. The waiting time wasnt bad because they kept calling me up for the tests. Then i was in a chair, and michael inserted the needle, which didnt hurt at all! It was wonderful for someone who's afraid of pain! I did almost faint towards the end, but they were quick and attentive and stayed with me until i was feeling better. Then i got my needle removed, which again, didnt hurt at all, and allowed to stay in the chair for as long as i liked. Then i was on my way! Very pleasant experience! I will definitely go back to donate again!
