This place has a poor rating for a reason.



The salespeople are sleazy, pushy liars. If they hadn't had exactly the car we wanted at the price we wanted, we would have left.



We researched and decided on our 2012 Honda Insight LX before we ever went to the dealership. We made an appointment for a test drive 24 hours in advance. We drove down from an hour away. We were in constant direct contact with the salesperson (Steve), so he knew exactly when we'd arrive.



When we got there, we were told that 5 minutes before we arrived that they'd let someone else take the car for a test drive, and if they signed first, they'd get the car. They showed no empathy or respect or regret for what they'd done.

Then, they tried to force us to buy an aftermarket KARR alarm which they lied and claimed was "already installed." They obviously thought we'd be scared into rushing to sign. Luckily I read the sticker in the window that said the alarm was deactivated and would be turned on "at the customers request," and yet they still tried to tell us they wouldn't sell us the car at the advertised price unless we bought the KARR alarm. Then after we said we'd buy the car, they ignored us and let us 'stew,' wasting hours of our time instead of just getting the paperwork done.



Needless to say, we spent several hours stressed out and irritated. All we wanted to do was buy the car we'd already picked out, at the price they'd advertised.



When they passed us to the Finance Specialist, we ran into the only redeeming quality of that dealership: Lyle Loomis. Lyle was refreshingly honest, direct, and helpful. I'd buy a car from him any day.



By the time we got the car home, the tire pressure warning and low coolant level indicator had come on. This was a Certified Pre-Owned Honda, and yet they clearly had not serviced the car before selling it. We just can't *wait* to find out how many other service-related problems are going to crop up after we've had the car for a while.



In short, avoid this dealership like the plague.

The sales people are friendly ...

The sales people are friendly until the sale is done then they don t respond. They sold me a 2012 van with a huge dent on the roof that was not devulged along with what looks like hail damage. they take zero responsibility because they don t look at the roof of the car . And after the sale they were super rude and arrogant and asked me to leave the premises when i got mad and demanded the floor manager, Casey Lott, get out of his seat and look at the van. i spent all day calling and emailing every sales person i had come in contact with and was ignored. When the general manager, AK Qadir, heard me raising a stink in the front of the dealership, suddenly a voicemail from him appeared on my phone magically and he said i was not going to get anything from him and to leave. Shady dealership, don t deal with them, i can t believe Honda lets them keep their name. wow...

I have nothing but positive th...

I have nothing but positive things to say. My salesmen, Jeff , was honest, helpful, and diligent. He showed me exactly what I asked to see in the models I wanted, at the prices I wanted, and didn't pressure me. He even went out of his way to drive by my wifes work on the test drive.

definitely five star service!

Excellent Serivce! They did a great job delivering a car for me , my ex husband who lives in Vallejo purchased a brand new Accord from a nearby dealership, he wanted to make sure our kids had a safe car to travel in. The salesman who delivered the car was right on time even with the rush hour traffic, the car was in excellent condition and the gas tank was filled :) I noticed the check engine light came on so I took it over to their service department, they were all also really nice and must have done something cause it hasn't come on since! definitely five star service!

Great Car, Great Dealership

Greg and the rest of the staff at Avery Green was extremely helpful during the recent purchase of my new Accord. We went to two HOnda dealers prior to showing up at Avery. I also got an excellent trade in offer on my car. I have been doing business with Green Honda for several years and have found their sales and service staff to be very friendly and efficient. It is also a great location and not too far from my house in Vallejo, not to mention they have a great inventory of new and used cars to pick from, I almost bought a used Accord, but I never had a brand new car and I am glad that this is it!

stress free and at my own pace

My wife has been wanting a new car for a while now, too bad I missed the “cash for clunkers” last year but my in – laws told me about Avery Green Honda and said the salesman there were pretty fair. That was an understatement when I went in, I wanted to get my wife a decent car that was in my price range, so I was pretty worried, but thanks to Jim I was able tog et a new Accord and finance was more flexible than I’ve ever experienced with my own credit union. My wife is very happy with her new vehicle and so am I. I would recommend Avery to anyone who’s looking for a good deal

Problems resolved, friendly staff, Very Happy

Brian the Service adviser was very helpful and understanding of the issue with my satellite radio problems. And the girl that was at the counter found the proper service person to handle the job and it was resolved quickly and correctly. Very happy with the service provided all round.

Good prices and service

They gave us the lowest internet quoted price for our 2009 Honda Pilot. There were NO bait and switch tactics. They went out and found the exact car we wanted within 24 hours. The entire transaction was painless and we were very comfortable dealing with sales and finance.
