Very happy with customer service and the final product. We just got new countertops and we love everything they have done for us

Andrea at Granite Home Design did a fantastic job setting up our granite installation. She was extremely responsive to emails, responded to my calls, and made herself available almost any time of the day with a personal interest in my job. She even met with us slightly after business hours to carefully review and advise us on our granite selection with price, wear, and color template considerations. Their price was very good, they templated very thoroughly and professionally, and the install was done well with professional pride and attention to detail. I would definitely use them again and specifically Andrea for any future projects...she made it all worthwhile!

What a disaster. Getting anyone to answer the phone is near impossible. Finally made an appointment because it was close to my house - but the woman on the phone failed to mention she was at the Oxford location. Duh. Waited a week for an estimate to do a fireplace surround. I told Adriana I wasn't in a hurry, but come on. Provided two pieces of Uba Tuba that I had, just needed edges fabricated. No overall dimensional changes. Dropped off the granite. Then Adriana tells me she can't let anyone cut it until I give her dimensions. The piece was going on the floor, in front of a fireplace. Just make the back flat, and the three remaining edges the same. The dimensions don't matter, and I don't even know what they are. She still doesn't get it, to this day. FORRRRGET IT!!! Spend your money somewhere else, way too difficult to get in touch with, get a price on, and obviously not that knowledgeable. Wow.

Granite home designs caused my wife and I such aggravation. We picked out slabs from 2 different Lots to decide on. We spoke with Andrea and told her we want Lot 1. Adriana on her own went and cut Lot 2. I told them we specifcally asked for Lot 1. Their brilliant idea was to keep the one they cut and use both Lots in our kitchen. Honestly a granite place telling me to mix Lots in a kitchen. Now they are trying to force us to use the slabs they made the mistake cutting. On top of it they are lying straight to my face about the whole situation.

This is a company that does not seem to rectify their mistake. I wish we knew more about them before our project started.

Also once this whole situation started they refuse to answer the phone when I call they send me emails pretty much saying too bad we are not going to do anything about it. I have been managing our whole renovation and have not run into people like this. This is also the first time I can remember every writing a review. I just feel the need to let people know before they decide to use this company.

I had a GREAT experience with Granite Home Design! As a very budget-conscious person, I realized that if I wanted quality (both product, service, and support) I would need to spend a little more. We received several estimates. We met with Adriana on a Sunday afternoon and looked at their selection. She was very professional, provided answers to all of our questions, and did not rush us. She was VERY responsive to email, which was great since I am a tech-girl. We were able to make a decision later that week and move forward.



The Installers did a great job and were very courteous. The install went well and looked good to me - but my general contractor noticed one of the pieces was not cut straight (due to the wall not being straight) - They immediately came back out that week and fixed it, cutting into the wall to correct the issue. No charge (even though it would appear that this was not THEIR fault - but one of those things you find in a house once you begin demo)



Follow-up was great as well. Adriana called to make sure I was happy. That's important because I had paid her already but she showed us that she cared about the project even after she got paid.

We just had our job completed it was perfect. When the installers arrived we weren't quite ready for them had to finish removing the old tops and faucet, they helped me without questions. then they stayed until it was finished (7;30pm on a Saturday). We were reluctant at first when we read the other recent reviews. My wife ask the owner about them and they showed us the emails with complaints which after reading them just sounded like squeaky wheels trying to get some free oil. We love our job and would recommend Granite home Designs to all of our friends.

I give them 0 stars I was lied to about how the sink was installed she said they use epoxy and I clearly know what epoxy is and I know what the clear silicone is I can do anything in a home from the concrete to the shingles on the roof I can do plumbing electrical paint drywall anything but I don t have the tools to cut and polish granite so I called this company we were satisfied until the sink fell off the underside of the granite call for them to come out and fix it I was told it would be $150 even after getting them two jobs I would definitely not use this company they will not stand behind their labor will be seen them in court within the next month

How did it go you ask? Not very well at all:



We found Granite Home Designs online, and since they had their office fairly close to us we decided to give them a call to set up a Saturday appointment (you have to arrange an appointment to be able to go to their office on Saturday). Right away things were a bit strange. Anytime I would call them during their normal weekday business hours to try to set up a Saturday appointment I would get voicemail. I'd then leave a message on a Friday, hoping to arrange a Saturday appointment, and not hear back from someone until Tuesday of the following week?? This happened 2 weeks until we were finally able to secure an appointment at their office on 2/15/14.



On 2/15 we arrived 10 minutes early to meet Andrea at the Oxford Office. The doors were locked and the place was dark. When it got to be the time of the appointment and no one showed up (or called) we were ready to leave. Then, 5 minutes past the appointment time Andrea comes walking up. We then went inside the small building and got the quote. Afterwards we drove to 3 other granite companies that had normal walk-in Saturday hours and nice showrooms (Granite Home Design's Oxford location is not a showroom and offers little to give examples or get ideas).



On Sunday, 2/16, I wrote an email to Andrea to get answers to some questions. By Wednesday, 2/19, I still did not get a reply so I had to call them back to find out what was going on. Finally on Wednesday evening I had a reply from them. I then wrote back to a lady named Adriana to tell her how poor the service has already been from her company and that it really seems like they don't take potential customers very serious. Her reply to me did not even fully answer questions I had about doing the measurements and available install dates, so I had to email back to ask the same questions again.



On Wednesday, 2/26, I wanted to schedule a date for doing the measurements. I had to place a least a dozen calls to their office before I was able to get a person and not voicemail. Andrea set it up for Adrianna to come out on Friday, 2/28, at about 5:30 PM. As I'm leaving work early to make it home for the appointment I get a call from Andrea at about 4PM, saying that Adrianna can't make it tonight because "someone was in the hospital". Andrea then asked if Monday, 3/3, would be ok? I was not happy at all about this last minute cancellation, but what could I do? I agreed to Monday and sent an email to Andrea over the weekend to confirm.



Here's where this company really shows its true colors: On Monday, 3/3/14, as I'm leaving work early again to meet Adriana at my home, I turn on my cellphone and this email comes through:











After reviewing the calendar this morning it has been determined that there will not be an available date for new projects until after Easter.











Granite Home Design reserves the right to cancel/move any appointments if is deemed necessary.

This is how I was told that they were not going to be showing up for the appointment that they had to reschedule, and essentially that "we don't want your business". Thank goodness that we didn't get to the point where they had our deposit and they started playing games like this! All along the way signs were pointing to this company being unreliable, unorganized and lacking in customer service. We wasted precious time trying to deal with this company and give them our hard earned money. Do yourself a favor and avoid making the same mistakes I made!
