My Uncle passed away while a resident in a Nursing Home in Medai, Pa. I live outside
Washington, DC and needed to handle all arrangements via telephone and email.
Luckily for me, I found the Cremation Society of Philadelphia via online search and connected with Funeral Director Bart Cavanagh who smoothly handled all the details concerning having my Uncle cremated in an expeditious manner. Bart met me the day before the funeral and transferred the urn containing the cremains to me which were then part of the Church Funeral
held the following day. Interment of the cremains was scheduled for a future date at a
Veterans Cemetery and Bart promptly took all actions needed to obtain for me the American flag to be used during that Military ceremony.
I could not be more satisfied with the OUTSTANDING service that Bart provided and I give
him my HIGHEST Recommendation.
