Dr. Chu and his staff have been great with my daughter for check-ups, x-rays, tooth molds, tooth pulling, and other procedures. She's never once complained about seeing the dentist, because they always make her feel comfortable, even during an uncomfortable procedure.



The patient chairs are all together in an open room with a huge window looking up toward the mountains, with a good assortment of books and toys along the wall. They even have a small video game machine for killing time (like when you're waiting for novacaine to kick in). They explain to the kids what's going on, they let the parents sit right there, and are very personable and friendly. The staff (including the dentist) are usually dressed in jerseys or something of that nature, which my daughter likes, and finds funny. Every visit includes a trip to the toy chest and the sticker drawer.



As a parent, I've been impressed with the front office's willingness to work with me regarding insurance and billing, since my insurance does not cover "specialists" like pediatric dentists. They've worked hard to allow me to bring my daughter to them.



If your child is nervous/fearful, or YOU hate the dentist as much as I do, this is the perfect place to come. I wish Dr. Chu treated adults too.
