This place serviced a riding mower for a family member. It blew up 2 hours after being returned. I stopped in to ask what they had done to it as the bill did not indicate what was done. I explained that the motor blew up and an authorized John Deere dealer discovered that this place installed the air cleaner wrong which may have caused it to over heat. Guy at Grove immediately got in my face and said his mechanic got sprayed in the face with fuel when he turned the key on. He further went on to say that this was an EFI (electronic fuel injected ) engine so even if it was installed wrong it wouldn't matter. I pointed out that this kawasaki engine had a carburetor. Grove guy instantly said he rebuilt the carburetor. Now denying he ever said it was fuel injected. And also insisted he was the only one to touch it. I asked what the parts charges were for and he said for carb parts and straps to hold the gas line (he used zip ties). I proceeded to tell him that i had 4 persons inspect the engine and they all agreed that the carburetor had never been removed or serviced. This enraged him and he stated that gasoline had flooded the crank case and thinned out the oil and that was the cause of the failure. I asked him why he didn't change the oil and he said it was not his responsibility. I asked him if he told the owner of the tractor about the oil and he again said it was not his job to do that. I remained polite and never accused him of anything. I never asked him for a refund. I simply was trying to find out why this motor failed. Then he lost it. I calmly told him he had better get his finger out of my face and chest. It was obvious to me any further conversation was pointless. His wife who works there also could not have been more polite. She seems like a nice person. If you mess up own it. I am sure being in business is challenging. Don't make it worse by lying . Would recommend you avoid this place like the plague.

Best place around! Took a lawn mower over there to be tuned up. He did an excellent job! I understand he just opened the business 3 months ago, but he has been in the this business for 25 yrs. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and everyone was very friendly! Would definitely recommend this place!

Very Knowledgeable and Helpful. Excellent Service. Now that I found Grove Outdoor Power I won't go anywhere else they are the best around!! I use them for all of my STIHL, TORO and other power equipment purchases and repairs. You can't go wrong at this business!!
