Visited this store to have a battery replaced in my car. For my dumb luck I didn't have tools to take the battery off. I explained I had a battery on hold and need one of the service team to take my battery out and replace with the new one. I was told I would be charge $15 because the battery was not on the counter with me. I agree to take the charge of $15 btw I thought was ridiculous and never heard of it. Then another agent goes out to my vehicle. Told me because the battery guard bar was over the battery that could not take the battery out. I was floored and felt humiliated because no one was willing to offer true customer service to me that i was willing to pay for. thank God I didn't turn my car off; I probably would not have gotten a jump off to get back home. I hope this is not Auto Zone's way of making their customer feel good about their purchase if so I am not satisfied. I will never good to this Union City location again. No one seem to be helpful at all. No Stars!
