Drew runs a great gym and cares about safety his experience from being a city police officer a deputy U.S. Marshal and a U.S. Marine gives him a certain edge on what one could face in real life. Drew and his instructors including the jujitsu master Relson Gracie give the best training in self defense sport competition or numerous other styles. In my personal experience as a former Army infantryman and a Texas State Trooper Lone star mma has provided me with training that exceeds and builds upon what I have learned in the past. Drew and his gym is a family friendly Christian operated gym that gives children a safe and supportive place to train in martial arts.

Lone Star MMA is a great gym that offers many classes from kick boxing, wrestling etc. The instructors are very knowledgable and enjoy the classes. The owner is a coach and very involved. The gyms are nice and very clean.

This place is amazing. We have been taking our boys there for four years now. My quiet shy son is more confident and self assured. The values of self protection and defense that Drew Arthur teaches is invaluable. The years of his military and law enforcement experience shows on the mat in the smart organized way that he runs the classes. The families present at the classes are friendly and encouraging to be around. Anyone interested in learning Martial arts in a positive family friendly environment should definitely check it out.

I have been going to this martial arts gym for a little over 4 years now and I have always been very satisfied with the superb training i get there. They have many talented instructors and safety and cleanliness are their number 1 priorities.
