Last week 16 residents were taken to hospital by ambulance. Residents were told it was a flu outbreak. Now thery are eating off of paper plates, plastic utensils and paper cups. The health department inspected the kitchen. Residents fear it began in the kitchen due to poor conditions. Residents have been complaing about the ooor quality of food and small portions as well as dirty utensils and filthy tablecloths. Residents stated that no one in the kitchen wore gloves and they would put their fingers in your glass to pick it up and refill. Constant complaints have been given to the director of the facility by several residents and their families. The regional director was also brought into this complaint process. The real reasons for the epidemic are still unknown at this time.
