I called to inquire about having someone give me a bid to install a 220 volt outlet for a hot tub. As soon as the lady taking my call found out that I was going to get multiple bids, she immediately told me that she was not interested in doing my work and then hung up the phone. Well, obviously I am not an electrician so I don't believe that it is unfair of myself to get multiple bids to compare so I ensure that I am not being taken advantage of. Seems like these people are shady and don't want other bids involved so that they can charge what they want and take people for fools.
