This company is the worst car company I have ever dealt with. I am use to buying high end mercedes and this place sold me a used one that was 10,000 over the bluebook. My fault for not doing my home work but when I complained about it later because I found out that my car had been wrecked and they didn't disclose it when I ASKED THEM AT THE TIME OF THE SALE, the GM (Scott Reed) at Classic Toyota had the nerve to tell me that charging customers too much for a vehicle was not a crime. This place is crooked, lying, cheats and I would never deal with them again!!!!
It should make everyone wonder why their website only has 5 star ratings on it from customers but I'm finding a lot of bad stuff about them when I google their review.

*Beware stay away* Classic Toyota, Tyler Tx main complaint intentional deceptive terminology i.e. Lies, I bought a used 2010 Toyota 52,000 miles on it, on 10/30/13 I also purchased the extended 100,000 mile warranty for $1795, because the salesperson and sales manger said it was good to have coverage past 115,000 miles. I asked several times about the this warranty 100,000 starting today and I was guarantee that yes it is so it wouldn't end until 152,000 miles right ? Right ok by, two days later got a call to meet the salesperson at the blue store because he needed me to sign something so he could get paid, I did that. I now have 101,000 miles went to a Toyota shop in Austin for warranty work only to learn that there is no warranty past 100,000 miles for any Toyota no matter what a salesperson guarantee is. I called Classic Toyota and got the Classic run around once I did get to speak with a sales manger not the one that sold the car he wouldn't pick up. This guy says well what your not understanding is you didn't pay for the first 50,000 miles. Ok then why sell me 100,000 mile warranty if only 50,000 miles is truly the length of the warranty? "Sir you don't you don't understand you didn't pay for the first 50,000 miles." I said no sir I understand I was lied straight to my face by Classic Toyota by using false terminology you said a 100,000 showed me the Toyota paper work where I can read it's a 100,000 why wouldn't anyone not believe that ? Only until I go to use the warranty do I get information about the exact terminology, when I contacted Toyota the woman there say they have nothing to do with the paper work your dealership gives you only start date and length. She even said why didn't they offer the 50,000 mile warranty? If your dealing with this deceptive dealer you have been warned. If they negative stars I would have chosen it.

We had the pleasure of working with ERIC W. We returned to Classic Toyota because of a previous positive experience we had purchasing our van in 2013. Eric went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure we found the right vehicle and we were happy. We will be recommending him to all of our friends and family and returning to classic for ALL of our auto needs.

We ended a three week search for another vehicle for our family at Classic Toyota of Tyler. It impressed my husband and I very much that we could make this purchase without all the hoopla, haggling, and basic time wasting antics that many salesmen resort to.

After doing online research to find competitive pricing, we called the dealership to confirm the price. We did this because so many other dealers would list online prices, but after driving all over East Texas, we would be disappointed time and time again when what was available on the lots was often $10k or more above the listed price.

We were offered and received very incredible financing that many other dealers said we did not qualify for, no hassle. We worked with 2 salesmen when we arrived. They worked together to make our purchasing experience awesome. They did not seem to be competitive, but rather a team, our team.

Thank you Woody and Christian. Had we come to you three weeks earlier, we could have spent the rest of our vacation time burning some miles on an awesome road trip in our new Toyota Sienna.

we have bought 10 cars from Classic Toyota over the last 12 years as well as 4 friends and neighbors buying from them after we recommended Classic. After the last dealings with them on 8-13-15 we are through with them. We feel they screwed us over on the radio they were supposed to put in our new car as well as the Camry XLE that we wanted but was out of our price range being discounted to within $175 of what they sold us a Camry LE 12 hours later. The Camry XLE had everything we asked for in options including factory xm radio, duel air control, heated seats and more. We signed the papers on 8-13-15 after 5p.m. and the car was in the shop the next morning for a steering problem and again on Monday for a bad battery but no mentioned the discounts on the XLE. Our paper work was still there and could have been changed. 2 days later I was back for them to put in the crappy after market radio that they charged us $500 for. They claim they love customer loyalty but they showed us no loyalty in our opinion. We're going to try trading our other Toyota next month but we need a new dealer. Any recommendations?

Horrible body shop. Never answered my calls and they left screws inside my car laying on the passenger floor. Did not wash my car and over all a very bad experience with Toyota collision shop. I do not recommend.

My previous version of this post cast a dark light on this dealership, but after a recent call with the manager Phil McDaniels, that's been put aside. It seemed that it was primarily a lack of communication and standards missed that caused the bad experience during the service on our truck. They know how to fix their mistakes, which shows a lot for their dealership.

I love Classic Toyota of Tyler...

I love Classic Toyota of Tyler, TX. Since 1994 I've bought 5 cars from them .. new and used. And the service dept. has alway been top notch. I'll drive the extra miles to have my car serviced with them. They are trust worthy and their prices are fair.
