Service feels great doctor was nice lenses were expensive

I was travelling on vacation and lost me glasses. I called Mountain West Optical where I bought my glasses they sent me another pair overnight and gave me a 2nd pair discount. I have purchased my glasses from Mountain West Optical since 1985 they stand behind their product. The people who work there know what they are doing and are fair. They have always been honest and treated me and my family like we matter.

Great selection of frames. A Dr is there to get your exam if needed. Lenses are made on site. Staff is friendly and professional. Will keep going there for all my optical needs.

I have been a customer of Mountain West Optical since 1985 I never have had any problems with them standing behind there product. I purchased a pair of lenses with anti reflection about 2 years leater I went into have my glasses adjusted. Kent notices a couple scratches and replaced both lenses at no charge to me. I find if I ever have problems they will fix it. Mountain west Optical will stand behind their workmans ship, and sometimes my stupitity . Thank You Mountain West Optical

I would not recommend this place. Sure they have all sorts of designer and cool looking frames, but be careful. They do not stand behind their product. I have a pair of scratched up, overpriced glasses because the lens kept popping out and falling. All they do is pop them back in. Next time I will stick to Costco or Coastal.com. Have used both. Coastal.com actually replaced my glasses and frames at zero cost and it was MY mistake!!! I should have known better.

I called and spoke with Terry about ordering a set of RX inserts for some glasses. He did not bother to tell me or ask what size my frames were. Turns out my frames have two sizes and Terry assumed my size and sent me the wrong ones. This guy is supposed to be the expert on these inserts but he never asked what size I had??? At first he offered to refund my money but when I sent them back he only gave me a credit of about 50%. I found my overall experience to be bad dealing with this company and Terry in particular. Cannot recommend.

THE SERVICE AND TIME IS WELL WORTH THE PRODUCT THEY PRODUCE. I GOT THE GREAT LOOKING SUNGLASSES ALONG WITH GREAT PERFORMANCE.

I wanted a pair of sunglasses that wraped around my face. All the places I called said my prescription wouldn't work in a wrap sunglass frame. I called Mountain West Optical, they were very helpful after I answered a few of their question they told me that they could hep me. I told them the Smith sunglass I wanted after just a few days I received my ploarized sunglasses with my prescription perfect. I can now ride my bike without wind in my eyes. I would recommend Mountain West Optical to any one who requires perfection.

I bought an ESS ICE wire-frame carrier to fit inside a pair of ESS ICE shooting glasses. The special problem I had with them was that I wanted my bi-focal prescription cut into the TOP of the lens, rather than the bottom. When I'm looking at sights, the top of the lens is what I'm looking through. Until I found MountainWest, none of the local optometrists said they could cut the top of the lenses, including Costco where I got the basic prescription filled for the lens carrier. With MountainWest, it was no problem, I mailed them my glasses, and they mailed them back a short time later with my bi-focal prescription cut perfectly in the TOP of the lens. I have no reservations recommending their service.
