Worst food ever!! I ordered Cheese Enchiladas, they came out cold. Sent them back, they came out Cold again, the cheese was not even starting to melt, ended up ordering beef enchiladas so I could eat!! What Mexican restaurant can not do Cheese enchiladas for heavens sake!! Oh and I paid full price!! Will go to Taco Bell next time!!

The food was pretty good, not blow me away. But good enough. The waitress was awesome. Loved the avacado Margarita. Thank you very much for the great service Veronica. :-)

We decided to come to El Sarape to have a family dinner out, which doesn't happen all that often, but we used to go about once a month to the Lacey El Sarape before we moved out past Tumwater.



It was about 30 degrees outside and I was glad to come sit in a warm place to eat.

When we walked in, the hostess brought us to the 1st table she saw asking if it was ok. We said yes. Little did we know that we would be getting blasts of cold air every 2-3 minutes when someone opened the front door.



I tried to use the coupon from the YP app on my phone and the waiter told me no because I didn't have a printed coupon. Ironically, it said I redeemed it when I showed it to the waiter.



After he walked away, I noticed it said to call the restaraunt ahead of time. Now why the hell should I call a restaraunt if they have a coupon with YP?? Mabye YP should make sure these restaraunts are willing to have a coupon on a cell phone!!!



The waiter made no attempt to ask a manager or anything. That really irritated me. When my food came, the plate was scalding hot and the enchiladas were ice cold. The rice and beans rapidly got colder with the opening and closing of the front door.



My son, who ordered a plain hamburger with cheese, only received a patty on bread with no cheese at all. I didn't want to give them a single star but I had to. The server barely did any work and I really didnt want to tip him, but I am too nice so I tipped him a little bit under the 20% I normally do.



I will not be returning to this El Sarape ever again. I used to frequent the El Sarape and Lacey. Their customer service was EXCELLENT. I just don't think I want to get used to going to this location.

Its a decent place to eat, but not the best mexican food, I am from chicago but been living here in WA for 2 months now and this was the first mexican restaurant I found, so I tried it, their prices are a lil highedd didnt really like it, the enviroment didnt really feel mexican.
