MAde my wife sick

Tulsa Air Duct Cleaning used faulty equiptment to clean my ducts. There was a large hose that was not connected to the machine, about a 1 inch rip. Service person asked to borrow a garbage bag to cover the rip. they started the machine and dust went every where in the house. I had to leave the house because the incident caused me to have an asthma attack. A layer of Dust is everywhere. I wanted this serivce to help my asthma not cause complications. Every surface is covered in a layer of dust. All blinds, curtains and every object in my house has to be cleaned. One service person tried to be helpful, Spencer. The other named Cody was angry and argumentitive outside of my house. I was quoted a price above 11 vents, when I only have nine vents. I would advise anyone with asthma or lung problems to avoid this company.

What my husband called in to compliment was the integrity of one of the employee, NOT the quality of service. One of the employees tried to overcharge us and the other one stood up to him and told him that the price he was giving us was incorrect.

The reason we did not take them up on their belated offer of free maid service is quite simple. We had the problem on the afternoon of March 19. We called to complain on the morning of the 20 & 21. We heard from the company on the 22. By that time we had all ready started the process of removing the "little dust" so that I could return home without having an asthmatic attack. We had to wash all of the walls, all of the bedding in the bedroom, vacuum all the furniture, clean off all the picture frames, wash all the rugs, vacuum every room in the house, and mop the floors. We continue cleaning up their mess each day, as we find areas that have blown red "rust" dust throughout our entire house. They admit their was a hole in the machine; why can they not be a responsible business owner and do the right thing?

Of course we did not want the company or any of its representatives in our home again.

I am insulted by the casual attitude of the owner of this company and his insinuation that we are "in it for the money". Believe it or not, this has nothing to do with the money. It is purely a matter of principal. It would have cost them far more to send out a maid service for the many hours it would taken them to rid my house of dust than the sum we paid them for the "customer no service".

Does the owner really think that I would go to all this trouble just to "work the system" for a lousy $259? That is absurd.

Resolution?? What resolution ??

What is so hard to understand?

They sold us faulty and shody service.

We had to clean your mess up ourselves immediately so that I could to be able to stay in my home, not three days later when you made the offers for maid service.

Their called "three offers" were useless to us, weren't they?

And, whats more, it is my belief that they knew they were a day late and a dollar short when they offered them.

Not once in all these replies has there been a "I'm sorry" or "Gee, we want our customers to be happy". ALL of it has been that this is somehow OUR fault for having the nerve to be upset about shoddy workmanship.

They should be ashamed, sir. They say we are not legitimate customers. We paid them money and they made me ill for three days and almost sent me to the hospital (now I wish I would have gone, just so that I could have the medical backing that they seem to think I am making up). That is the bottom line.

In all my years of dealing with businesses, I have never been spoken to as rudely as they have spoken to me
