I had a monthly membership unt...

I had a monthly membership until today. I have been going by at least six times (this is February) in past ten days trying to get my car washed and there has been a sign at least three times saying closed due to inclement weather. Hmm. I was wondering what inclement weather when you are paying 35 bucks a month?. The other times I have went by, at least three others, they have been closed.

So this morning they were finally open. I pulled into the cashier lane to discuss that it has been closed due to inclement weather, because in my mind, I did not understand because there was no inclement weather and I was concerned about it because I am paying for the highest monthly membership.

So I spoke with the cashier and the owner, turns out to be, Mark, popped his head out and I said I have been by and there was a sign that say inclement weather. and he said yeah, because it was raining with an attitude. So with my attitude, I said raining? he said raining. From first off he was hateful and the cashier thought it was funny. I could tell by his whole demeanor he didn't care one bit if I had a membership. So not wanting to deal with an owner like that, who isn't going to explain any more, I said well, then cancel my membership and he said he would be glad to cancel my membership." He did not care anything about my concerns. If he would have explained it more, it would have been nice, but he was the most hateful person and cocky owner I've ever come across. In fact, he smiled when he said he was owner.

So I proceeded to tell him just to cancel my membership and my friends who were going to get a monthly membership also probably wouldn't be doing that now after this. He didn't care one bit. He said he didn't want people for memberships if they were like me. I guess someone who was questioning them being closed???

If they consider the weather we have had with a little bit of rain as inclement weather, I definitely do not want to spend $35 a month on that. He also said he did not have any more locations, "not yet." Wow, maybe he needs some people skills before he does that because he just lost three customers at 35 bucks a month.

I am not very happy at all! I paid $15 for a car wash and when I got home there was still dirt and bugs on my car. I just assumed if I pay that much for a car wash they would do a good job. I was wrong! I believe that if they would slow down a little they would do a better job!!!

We went through this car wash yesterday afternoon and the running boards hung up on the last station. Our truck (Ford Platinum) was hung up causing the car behind us to ram into our trailer hitch (causing damage to their car) and eventually ripped the running board from the frame of our truck. We immediately notified the attendant and he ran in the car wash and carried our running board out to us! Both us and the car that was behind us waited for the attendant to view the video. He said the video showed it was the fault of the car wash, an attendant was supposed to be at that station to stop the system and admitted there was not one there. He had us (and the car that was pushed into us) complete an incident report and expect a call from the manager. We drove back by shortly after and an attendant was standing at that station! The manager just called and they are NOT accepting responsibility and therefore not paying for damages! We will see them in court! It makes me sick that we have to be without a vehicle while in a shop and have to pay for the damages! My Monday morning will be spent hiring an attorney!
