I wish there was anything less than a star. Just like the other previous reviews, customer service is horrible. Learn from other's experience and avoid this store like a plague.
We bought a bed with the hope of finding a matching dresser. Unfortunately, they were out of dresser of matching color. We requested for a refund. They refused to provide us a refund. We were told that we can only exchange it for another bed. For the sake of peace, we shopped for another bed. Fortunately, the new bed was cheaper than the previous one. We asked for our change as we have already fully paid for the previous bed. The change was about $50. The fraudulent manager and a very disrespectful lady who I believed is the shift lead or whoever she was still refused to give us change. They will rather have us buy another item (against our will) in place of our change. Buyer Beware!!!

Horrible costumer service. I bought a bedroom set March 8th and it is now May 3rd and I am still waiting for the nightstands. I have made several attempts to call, and they keep putting me on hold so they can try to find them, then they hang up on me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and now I just want my money back. I will never shop in this store again lessen learned

My husband and I recently bought a $650 bed from Sunshine. We signed papers to finance the bed over three months. Put down a deposit and were told we would have 3 $175 payments withdrawn from our account each month. We got a bill from the company that sunshine financed through and they charged us 1400!!! We've had 2 payments of 30 dollars, back to back, taken from our bank account. I called Sunshine today to try and figure out how they double charged us. The lady was not helpful at all and told us we would have to deal with the finance company and not them. She was very short with me and when I asked to talk to a manager she put me on hold for 15 minutes and then I was hung up on. I told her that I would think this was an important issue they would want to know about, and she told me the managers are dealing with a lot of important issues. I immediately called back, and talked to an intern. He told me the managers leave at 5 pm and there was no one to talk to me until tomorrow. I called at 4:40! Super shady company. Once this is settled we will never purchase from them again! Sounds like I'm not only one this has happened to!

Buyers beware. The store manager is very disrespectful and disappointing to know he works In this field. My wife purchased a toddler bed. Manager came up and said it was missing pieces then went to the warehouse and came back and said never mind "it has all the pieces" then they negotated the price for scratches and being a floor model. Priced at 299 got it for 250. Not bad for a floor model. Got it home and I put it together. It had holes with obvious missing parts. I Googled the bed and it was missing the slide and a tent that goes around the bottom of the bed (kind of like a fort). So I called 3 Times leaving a message with the customer service manager each time. She finally calls my wife instead of me and tells her the manager stated he told you it was missing the slide and that is why you got the discount.

So I call back and tell the customer service lady I wanted to talk to the manager and told her I've left 3 messages. She puts me on hold and the store manager answered and we starting talking. I told him what happened happened and he said things like "your wife knew the slide was missing" I told her it was "sold as is" "it was a good deal and your trying to get something for free and it's not happening". I didn't even ask for anything let alone for free. I was hoping they just forgot to give us the slide. Never once asked for anything.

I asked to speak to his boss and he told me he was high as it goes and laughed. Told me I was rude to everyone I spoke to and that this is now how I get treated in return. I only talked to one person... Him. Yes briefly to the customer service lady who I called mam and said thank you. He said over and over "she knew it was missing parts" (which she did not) and "she got a good deal until you decided you wanted something for free" I then told him I was going to call the BBB for being disingenuous and he laughed and said knock yourself out buddy and he Hung up on me. Stay away folks. Ridiculous that a manager acts this way

Bought bedroom furniture it was all damaged. Bought a king memory foam lift bed , parts were left at their store. They damaged my footboard. I was told come into store to resolve problems. I cried to three different people , Earl, Red, and Wes. I was so upset I thought I was going to have a panic attack .i was told I had to pay $120 for them to come and pick up their damaged furniture and the king bed that sits on the floor , no legs and no remotes because they are at the store! I was told we will get you a new bed!! Never happened. I'm 61 years old I bought the bed due to back problems, 4 bulging disc , this has stressed me so much I can't stop crying thinking how horrible Sunshine furniture customer service has treated me! I will continue shopping with Mathis Brothers !

Horrible. It is very hard to get in contact with anyone that can help you with a problem. I bought a couch from them recently, and it was delivered damaged (didn't know at the time). One of the legs was not properly installed, so now it is destroyed. I have a year warrenty with them, but since they don't carry that brand, they told me the warrenty was void! So now the couch sits on 3 legs and the stitching from both sides of the arm rests are very loose. I would deeply consider another place before making a purchase there.

We casually stopped here to look for a TV stand. We had shopped all day and thought...why no? We left with a kitchen set, a sectional and the stand! A friendly, polite salesperson, Mike Jones, went out of his way to find my specific request. He also measured all the furniture for me. Still undecided, Mike Jones gave us his card and told us to call if we had more questions. He never pressured us. My mother and I returned after dinner a few hours later. Imagine our surprise when we were told Mike Jones was actually off that day. Never fear! His Equally polite and friendly co-worker Shannon informed us she be happy to do the paperwork for Mike and make sure he got his commissions. My mother and I looked over the pieces we selected with Mike and Shannon did not pressure us. Shannon was very patient with us she went out of her way to answer and questions and/or concerns just like Mike! I have to admit had I not received such good customer service from these two professionals I would have only purchased the TV stand! I love my new furniture!

If I could give this company a negative score I would. I had the worse experience ever. Late delivery, didn't deliver all of my furniture & poor customer service. The manager called only after I posted a negative review on google and expressed my concern to the salesman I worked with. I informed her that I would never do business with them again. So Vicky, that manager told me to talk to her if I changed my mind and she would take care of me. I decided to give them another chance and went into the store... big mistake. I asked the front desk clerk was Vicky available, she said she was and that she would call her for me. She called Vicky on the phone while I was standing there and Vicky merely said some other lady named Red would take care of me. Not asking if Red was available, what my issue, etc. Red was already gone for the day, so I was left to help myself. I decided to leave. Again, please do not and I mean do not waste your time shopping with this company. I have been a customer service manager for years and I would never treat my customers or potential customers this way. If you don't have time for your customers, why are you working? Mathis Brothers has always shown exceptional quality & service. I will continue to spend money with them or Ashley. Never ever again with Sunshine.

Very Disatisfied

I bought a $2400.00 leather sofa. The WRONG sofa was delivered. No response from customer service, sales mgnr, general mgnr, or Pat Fuller Store Mgnr. to get this resolved. Meanwhile the wrong sofa sits in my home.

If you do business with Sunshine Furniture take photos of everything, as I have. You're going to need them...

Fantastic service. There was a mistake and it was taken care of very promptly and very professionally. I had read the negative reviews online and can not imagine that any of the people that were negatively reviewed are still around. Horrible customer service

Ordered a couch for my office online. First, I had to call and set up the delivery even after I spoke to them and they said they would call to set it up. No big deal. Set up delivery for between 2-5. That's fine. Waiting in delivery when I had other things to do. Sucks, but I did it. 5:15 rolls around and I call because I have to leave. Manager is extremely rude and tries to say it is and estimated delivery time. I say well just cancel the order. He says they'll only give me an in store credit. We argued a while longer and he said he would see about refunding my money and would call me back. No call back. Guess ill just sue them.
