All people have gifts and abilities to offer in their families, social relationships, and communities.  Although people are resilient, we all encounter problems and relationships in life that overwhelm and challenge us at times to our core.  In these moments, counseling can help to provide support and healing for emotional, spiritual and relational hurts.    People and their existing personal, spiritual, family and community resources are of critical importance in the counseling process.  As a therapist, I believe each client's active participation in the planning and ongoing stages of counseling is one of the greatest determining factors in the success of the counseling experience.   I highly value client privacy, and practice vigilant confidentiality with all client information.   I provide both short and long-term professional counseling to assist individuals, couples, and families in discovering relief, healing, and fullness of life.

One of my greatest life passions is assisting individuals and families in finding healing and wholeness that enable them to experience life more fully.  I became a therapist because it has been a natural life role for me to be a warm listener and an intuitive helper.  I value learning others' life stories and am honored when my role as a therapist allows me to join in those stories.  A native Tulsan, I have been married for 9 years and have 2 children under the age of 5.  A combination of my natural attributes, life experience, and professional training have equipped me to provide therapeutic counseling to individuals, families, and couples wishing to address issues of healing, conflict, concern, or desired growth in their lives.

I have 10 years experience working at Family and Children Services, Inc. in the following roles:

Providing goal planning and resource support to low- income families

Providing counseling/social work services to children and their families in an elementary school setting

Providing individual/couple/family counseling services in an office setting to adults, teens and children.
