I've read the negative reviews, an i showed up there with an Ar-10, just covered in CLP. They were very helpful, they didn't carry much for my specific rifle but they do have a good selection in weapons, accessories, and ammo. Had my rifle bore sighted, and not one complaint about all the CLP I had it covered in! As long as it hits the paper where they said it would, I'll be a happy & repeating customer! The help I received were from 2 gentleman my age (in their 30's), there was an older guy behind the counter that didn't look too happy, but when I spoke with him he turned out to be really nice as well as helpful!
I for one can relate to that kind of person. If people judged me by the way I looked, I'd without a doubt would seem like an a$$hole! Multiple back surgeries will do that to you, so don't be so quick to judge people, you never know what they're going through, or have been through already, period.
As far as the Company goes, I would recommend this place to anyone....

This gun shop is run by crooks. They claim to be gunsmiths that can repair firearms but in reality they just hold on to the gun without working on it for so long they hope you forget about it. They also ran a scam on my brother and screwed him out of $70, he bought a defective firearm there new, they claimed they would repair it and a month later they told him to take a hike. The old lady behind the counter tried her hardest to steal the gun outright by not giving him his buy back check. I used to buy guns there but no more, go to Sooner instead.

Don't care about helping customers properly match up guns with ammo or accessories. Very willing to sell WRONG ammo and accessories with no return in ammo! Misleading salesmanship with lack of information resulting in poor customer service. WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE AGAIN!!!!

i've purchased 3 different firearms from them and did okay on the price. Loved the inventory and all that but when the older guy speaks to you, he is a prick. He makes remarks that are insulting and belittling and shouldn't be allowed to be in contact with their customers. He'd be best off with a broom or mop after hours rather than being allowed to speak to customers. You'd think his son would see this and try to get him to treat customers with a little more respect,

I read the reviews and I was treated completely different. The guy who helped me was courteous. I'm not much of a talker and I'm sure they get a lot of mouth breathers in there that tell them all about what they know about fire arms and I'm sure its annoying to say the least. I got a great deal and was very pleased. I will go back many times.

I have been into Sports World on numerous occasions. Every time, the employees are rude, disrespectful, and act as though the customer is more of a nuisance than anything. When I walk in ready to drop a grand on a new firearm, I expect someone to be eager to assist me. These people are a far cry from that. And don't even bother trying to talk to a manager or owner; they're just as bad. And the manager is the owner's son! I will NEVER go back to Sports World. I live a mile away from them and would rather drive to BA to Bass Pro than attempt to buy anything there again. They're pathetic jerks who no longer have any business from me.

Not to brag but I spend a good deal of money on firearms and ammo.These guys are rude a$$holes been in several times over the years always the same treatment in my eye you can get just about anything in there about the same price elsewhere with reasonable service.

Sent my rifle in to Sports Wor...

Sent my rifle in to Sports World of Tulsa which is one of the Marlin Service Centers for repair due to many, many bad feed issues. Sent it on 9-14 and called a week or so later to make sure that my rifle had arrived and that there were no problems with the service order. I was told they had received the rifle on 9-17 and that they were not backed up at all and I could expect my rifle back in about 2 weeks. I called today and asked if they usually called or emailed an owner to advise them of the shipment so I would have some idea when to look for delivery. They asked for my serial number and told me to hold. A few minutes later, the guy picked up the phone and hung it up. I called back 5 times and was hung up on all 5 times. They picked the phone up and immediately hung it up each time. I called from my wife's cell phone to see if they were trying to avoid me for some reason and they answered that number. I identified myself and the guy told me that he tried to answer my call 5 times and nobody was on the line. Then he told me that they had no record of ever receiving my firearm. I repeated the serial number to him and he again said that they had no record of my firearm. I then asked him to check by name and he rudely said "Sir, we never received your gun!". At that point I told the guy that they had it two weeks ago and he got pissed off and raised his voice at me telling me that they have never had my gun! I explained to him that according to my shipping receipt and tracking number that they most certainly had the gun. He yells at me to hold on and transferred me to another guy. The second guy said that my gun was with the gunsmith and that he had not had time to look at it and that it would be a few weeks because they were extremely behind on orders. I asked about being contacted when the rifle shipped and he said he would see if that was possible. At this point, I have no clue if they truly have my rifle or not. Has it been stolen, destroyed.........? I'm considering contacting the BATF at this point since I do not know for sure if they actually know where my rifle is.

Very nice store with a great inventory & good prices with a very rude & unprofessional staff. The last time I went in, with cash in hand to buy a hard to find revolver, the owner's husband said, to me, "do you want to spend some money or just stand here & talk about it?". I've tried on at least 3 different occasions to do business with them but have received similar treatment every time & have several friends that tell me the same story. Go to Bass Pro or anywhere else, for that matter, if you want to be treated with the respect that, as a money spending customer, you should be. Will NEVER call or go in again.
