For over a decade Southwest Aviation Specialties, LLC ( SWAS ) has provided a variety of aviation services including aircraft charter, aircraft sales, management and brokerage, maintenance and parts with a full service avionics installation and repair station. SWAS was founded with a comitment to excellence in maintenance and service to general aviation aircraft from light single engine to multi engine turbo prop aircraft. Expansion began in the early 1990s with the addition of avionics installation and service and a FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate as well as a 145 Repair station authority. We are currently working with companies such as Aeromek and Airinc in research and development of Reduced Vertical Seperation Minimum ( RVSM ) solutions for Hawker 700s and Lear 30/40 series aircraft. Our clienst rely on us to provide and implement solutions for many special needs projects concerning airframe/powerplant as well as avionics issues. SWAS operates a FAA 135 air charter certificate with international travel authority. Our pilots who support the charter/flight operations are all FAA certified and trainde on a semi annual basis at Flight Safety International or other FAA approved training facilities. SWAS has a fleet of aircraft that allow is to service any number of passengers to any destination domestic or international. I worked for almost a year, was cussed out multiple times for work related and person reasons by the worst supervisor i ever had, but would management or the owner ever do anything? No, the owner is the worst, a liar, cheater, and on multiple occasions even scammed customs and ordered good mechanics to do shoty work so the could make more more. I finally left after a year when a customer wasnt happy with his plane being ready 30 minutes before departure at 7am, he wanted an hour but didnt specify, the owner then gave this customer a 500 dollar refund on a month of hanger rent and tried to take it out of my paycheck when he already wasnt even paying me a living wage, if karma is real, the owner has a lot coming. The dollar is always before the customer, i no longer find it odd that when i hired on, none of these experienced mechanics had been there over a year, people beg to leave.
