The worst for so many reasons. The main reason I’m writing this is I’ve seen customers and experiences personally a truly unkind disrespectful management with a VERY low tolerance for customer complaints in any form. For instance, I was just about to rent a “skate mate” support for my son which cost $3. The charge $5 if you’re using a credit card and give you a $2 credit at their extremely crappy snack bar. I requested that I just get $2 in cash back instead and a man, who is the owner, literally got up in face and threw a fit immediately. It’s the same attitude I’ve experienced in the past. The polar opposite of customer service. I managed to stay calm until he was through, then I walked away to the party we were attending. Before I made it to the party table the security guard is questioning me. Luckily, he seems to understand and be the only sensible person in the place and was apologizing for the management’s behavior. I told him that wasn’t necessary to apologize and that I never had a problem and wasn’t being confrontational in the first place. I think it’ll just blow over and am letting go, when the grandmother shows up to the party and jokingly says “You’re a bad ass.” I asked her what she meant and she told me the lady at the door said “I was giving her trouble and she was about to kick me out of here.” (???) I hadn’t spoken with a single female since I’d been at the place so this is sheer gossip and lies stirring the pot against her own customer. THIS PLACE IS SO SLEEZY. Sad too... there’s a long history here and I have many great memories of coming here when I was a kid.

Great polite staff and the best rink I have seen and I went there when I was 10 and I am 57 now. Bought my 10-year-old son some great skates there in the pro-shop with the owner putting the fine tune to them and got a few weeks free skating with my purchase.

I had just sent some bad skates back from the Internet because of cheap Chinese bearings and the wheels would not even roll around one time.

People, stay away from the cheap skates at the big box stores and the Internet and ask for at least a "ABEC - 3 to 5" bearing and your kid will be happy and Skateland keeps everything in stock.

You can try each skate on and get the right size and look and you or your kid will be happy and Skateland keeps everything in stock. Thank you, Skateland !!

Wonderful people, been to couple private parties. Floor is in great condition and nice common areas. Bathrooms need some attention.

I noticed that the other reviews on Skateland are from years ago. we took our kids here for a friend's birthday this past weekend. I was very impressed with the level of organization of management. I love the fact that you are checked in at the door And that a dress code is in effect. There was someone monitoring not only the skating rink but the lobby at all times as well. It was extremely crowded as it was a Saturday but everyone was having a great time. I witnessed a child get injured while skating and management was very quick to take care if him. Overall a good place to take the kids. We will be going back.

As an avid skater for over 30 years, I've been in countless rinks. The floor at skateland is a nice wood floor in good repair. The sound system is below average but the lighting is good. There is little to no control on the floor. There is no floor guard to monitor horseplay and dangerous behavior. Fallen skaters were not attended to Hats, sunglasses, stuffed animals (toys), and candy wrappers make the skating floor treacherous. The kids in the rink were rowdy, but playful. No fighting or conflicts were observed. For their own legal protection, Skateland needs to monitor their facility more closely.

This establishment allows people to climb over the tables where people are eating. There is no organization! People are allowed to climb on the walls, walk on the rink in shoes, There is one young man who runs the rink who revels in this chaos. He is busy monitoring people who are correct in their behavior and allowing all the ruffians to do as they please. Go to any other skating rink but don't go there!
