INCOMPETENT! We paid for a full year HOI policy 3-weeks before the closing date on our home. Kerry “forgot” to send over evidence of coverage, and we had to scramble last minute to get proof we needed to close. After several hours, Kerry faxed a CANCELLATION NOTICE instead a COVERAGE BINDER. Everyone at the title company, real estate office and mortgage company discovered how mentally devoid Kerry and Shelter Insurance are. Well, after about 90-days, we received another CANCELLATION NOTICE, because Kerry “goofed” in quoting our policy amount. Shelter demanded another $685 within 10-days or be cancelled. Kerry Engelson is an absolute idiot and Shelter Insurance is equally useless! FYI, Shelter knows Kerry has mental deficiency issues and if you glance through these reviews – evidence exists. Most of her reviews are from coworkers and they fight to delete negative reviews. For example, a review exists below from “Craig Schafer,” but he isn’t a customer – he is Shelter Insurance Sales Manager and friend of Ms. Engelson. At least three others are coworkers and not real reviews.
