was in laureate it was a big joke all I ever heard was we need to work on a treatment plan. no real one on one talk and helping me. was given a med change then it ended up that I couldn't take that med had to go to the er to get help oh my gosh the place was loud doors slaming wrong place for me be careful before going there.

I had hope that going to a psychiatrist at Laureate would be a cutting edge experience. Instead, I felt my problems were not addressed and basically the psychiatrist was dismissive of my problems and said, "you're not telling me anything to make me believe you should be on the meds. your on." She barely looked at me and seemed to either be destracted or didn't care at all. This clinic is a joke and needs a serious overhaul before someone needlessly commits suicide because a Dr. was uncaring and seemingly unprepared. Didn't seem to know the basics of depression and anxiety. What a shame.

Laureate: where the staff is more mentally unstable than you.

Just calling up and trying to make an appointment is bad enough. Their staff is SO incredibly rude. Not just any rude, but a "I'm better than you cause your "crazy" and i wont let you forget it' kind of rude. When my mother had called, the person on the phone actually started YELLING at her and told her she was crazy, her name was "weird", called her stupid, etc. How a place like this is open in unbelieveble. I could go on and on. Be smart and look elsewhere. These people do not care about you.

My mother was in the hospital recently and it was a horrible experience. She has been in there before and it was a wonderful place. I don't know why it has changed in the last year. She was just released and I'm still worried she is not any better after being in there. It was very unprofessional and uncaring. Please look at placing your loved one in another facility at least at this time until they get their act together and always read reviews about them before placing your loved ones in them.

This is a horible place for the patients. It reminded me of institution of the 40's & 50's where the patients are locked up with nothing to do but sit in chairs all day long. There is nothing I have good to say about this hospital. My father was here for two weeks. We couldn't go see him except during certain hours of the week. Then they loose just about everything he took with him, teeth, hearing aid, clothes and then claim they are not responsible. Not a good place at all. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.
