Pooches is the best thing that we have found for our fur baby!! My dog runs to the gate and never looks back! Employees are very helpful and areaways excited to see us.

My dog was injured at Pooches, and I wasn't told about it. I didn't find the injury until I got home with my dog. The day care area also smells really bad.

Be wary of Pooches. Not all dogs get to play. Many are left in wet runs all day. Fights happen almost daily, that could be prevented if attendants would actually watch the dogs. Dogs are not tested with other dogs before being placed in play rings. If the dog fights in the ring, he or she will end up in a run for the rest of the day. The owners are not told. Dogs are let out, when the attendants have time but usually this is only twice a day. Dogs do have access to water all day. It is pretty rare for a dog in a run to go with out water for more than a couple of hours. When dogs fight and are injured, Pooches sometimes offers to pay the vet bill, but dismisses some cuts and scrapes with out telling the owners. Pooches will accept ANY dog, even dogs that they can not accommodate safely. Dogs are rarely kicked out, even if they are known fighters and trouble makers. The staff is so over-stressed and under-trained that it is shameful. Most of them are very young and irresponsible.
