"My Daughter Got Fired From PAC For A $20 Balance."
At 11AM, I called the office (from my work desk at my full-time job) and we confirmed her appt today that's been in the books for weeks. Her 12 month check up was scheduled for 3PM. At 2:30 I notice my cellphone has a VM. I call the office back to "discuss my account and appointment today." My fiancé and I are in route (in separate cars, since we are both leaving work early and I've picked up the baby) to the Dr. office. After having waited 15 mins on hold, we are told our daughter's appt has been cancelled and she is no longer a patient of theirs!! They dropped her!! I got a letter on FRIDAY after Thanksgiving -4 days ago- saying they would drop her if payment wasn't rcvd and to not list them as her provider after Dec 23rd- so I called, but it was a "holiday and no one was in the office to give me the info I was requesting and the business department wasn't there to take a payment." So I figured- worst case scenario, I have until 12/23 to pay. BUT, I knew I'd pay today at the appointment they let me schedule and confirm! My balance? $20!! The account is not even in collections! Who gets dropped for $20?! "The partners reviewed her account and dropped her." To return as a patient, I have to WRITE A LETTER appealing the decision, explaining the circumstances, and requesting she get to return. I paid the balance over the phone -as I intended on paying it today at our appointment. I have to send it to the attention of the FRONT OFFICE so they can OPEN IT and THEN distribute it to the partners that made the decision to drop her for them to review. In the meantime, I wait... And hope she gets to return for that flu booster they set up. The MGR said if I'm "just going to return for the checkup, [I] might as well just start with a new office so [I] don't have to write the letter." I would never have jeopardized my daughter's patient status knowingly for only $20. So... ISO good pediatrician in the Tulsa area. WILL PAY.

There is a complete disconnect between the Dr.s and staff (or I can only hope they are unaware of how they are treating patients). My daughter saw Dr. Claire Maddox & SHE IS FANTASTIC --no complaints w/her. However, their staff is either incompetent or extremely rude. The initial nurse I had the first two visits was awful and I would not let her near my daughter again. My friends who referred me all had similar complaints on the woman. After a HUGE insurance debacle (where I was in fact right, and had provided the correct information) They caused me unnecessary stress as a new mom, profiled me incorrectly, & handled the entire ordeal in a very unprofessional way. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THEIR PRACTICE TO ANYONE Also when I transferred they were rude on the phone and refused to get my medical records before 2 weeks! She is 4 months old... literally 5 pieces of papers max. They are lazy.

Dr. Keller is amazing but Dr. Wan is awful. The nurses are great too. Some of the staff is rude and unfriendly. It is difficult to get in with your preferred doctor.

I like the doctors, the support staff are a different story. God forbid if you ever have to deal with the business office. We had a dispute with them and they would not treat my sick son after he had been going there his whole life (six years). Do not trust your child s health to this business. They let my son down, and will probably do the same to your child.
