I boarded my dogs through Paw Prints on multiple occasions without issue. However, the last time my dogs stayed with them, the office overcharged us (vet's house price vs office price). Additionally they left a harness on one of my dogs full-time against instructions. As a result, my dog chewed through a harness; and I had to purchase a replacement harness.

When I addressed this with the office staff, I was told I could bring in receipt for my new replacement harness and get a refund for the harness and the difference on boarding prices. However, anytime I went in, they didn't have cash to refund and would tell me to come back later.

After several months, I called asking for a check refund to be mailed to me. The office staff refused. Even though the office admits there are notes in the file offering the refund, the vet states that since she was never told of the incident and the original office staff is no longer employed they would not refund our money.

The two good reviews on here are from 2011 .. guess these past four years for this place weren't good ones.

When I went in, I noticed that they overcharge - BIG time. I brought my cat in for some flee treatment and antibiotic. The bill came out to $150+ - a little steep, but for antibiotic, flee medication and flee shampoo, it didn't seem too abnormal.

They said they were waiting on shipment of the flee medication and would call me when it arrived. They said I could "just come in and pick it up." Unfortunately, that is not how things played out. Apparently, they "forgot" to mention that the flee treatment wasn't included in my original bill, and charged me an additional $50. That bumped my total bill up to and over $200. For some odd reason, I'm not feeling too convinced that this was a matter of simply forgetting to mention. Either it really wasn't on my original bill and they decided to keep quiet on the additional charge so they'd be sure to get the $50 out of me, or I did pay for the medication and they just figured out a way to double charge me. I don't know for certain (but regardless - SLEEZY.)

To add to this lovely experience, we just compared the flee medication they gave us to Frontline Plus.. they're exactly the same thing. All of the same active ingredients in all of the same amounts. They effectively sold us $20 flee medication for $50. They also told me that I couldn't use this treatment on my lactating cat, and we just checked the instructions on the box and in big bold letters it read, "CAN BE USED ON BREEDING, PREGNANT, AND LACTATING CATS." They seriously didn't even know anything about the product they were charging me $50 for. It's a good thing I didn't fall for their crap and buy into their $80 per flee collar deal (which they avidly tried to convince me to try.)

TL;DR: This place is a scam looking to suck away ridiculous amounts of your money while you're simply trying to love and care for your sick pet. They are terrible people, and this place should be shut down.

$200 for full flea treatment on a single cat. Ridiculous. I'm fairly certain we were double charged for at least one of the medications, or at least it wasn't clearly communicated what the price would be before any decisions were made. It wasn't until we got the first bill that we learned it was going to be $150, but after that was paid they said we just had to swing by and pick up the medication that was ordered later the next week. Went to do so and it was another $50.

Update: upon further inspection, not only did they double charge us for the medicine, they charged us for something they didn't even do in the first place. And the flea medicine they recommended was basically a copy paste of Frontline Plus, except $50 rather than $25. And they tricked us into paying $100 for it.

I retract my last star to give them the lowest possible rating. Paw Prints is a scam, and a scam that preys on people trying to help their sick pets is the worst kind of scam. This place needs to be shut down.
