They really moved through several customers fairly quickly and with friendly attitudes. It did seem that since this was an airport facility and everyone had reserved a car that they could have planned better to have additional staff. No fault to the team that was there.

Worst rental experience. Despite having a reservation, confirmed hours earlier for a nearly month-long stay in Tulsa, I arrived at the Emerald Aisle to find a long line of angry customers, and an empty parking lot. Either National hadn't saved cars for the customers who planned ahead and made reservations, or National knew there was a shortage, and neglected to transfer vehicles from other locations.



This was a breakdown of basic business principles: Don't buy more than you can afford, and don't sell more than you can supply to your customer.



Getting the run around at the airport, trying to make something work with National, Enterprise, Budget, and Hertz took nearly two hours. I had to take a cab to my hotel (nearly an hour away), and to the customer's site in the morning. I had to spend over an hour of my day talking on the phone with half a dozen National employees before I could be assured that when I traveled the hour back to the airport, that they would have a vehicle for me.



In the end, National payed for the cab, and upgraded my car one level. It's a move in the right direction, but doesn't make up for the hours lost, and the poor attitudes dealt by the National employees.

The employees of National Car Rental were friendly and went out their way to assist me. The car was clean and new. I highly recommend National Car Rental to anyone!
