Receptionists were very rude and not helpful! kindness goes a long way! It gave me a bad taste of the whole facility, luckily the instructors are great!

Miller Swim School was a lifesaver! We have two kids and a third one on the way. My parents have a pool in their backyard and swimming lessons were a necessity for us. The first lesson my oldest child cried and cried, but the instructor was so patient and gave us great tips of things we could do at home to make him more comfortable in the water. I cant wait to get in with my youngest next year. We are now believers in early water education!

Miller is okay if you get a good instructor. Last year my son was in Diaper Dolphins and two sessions of Flippers. I decided not to go back after his second session of Flippers because the instructor did not explain what they were learning and why. We just did the same routine every session. This year I decided to try it again and the instructor explains why we do certain exercises and is SO much better and helpul. One bad instructor can make a difference in perception.

My son has been taking swim lessons from Miller since was a year - We started in Diaper Dolphins and he is now in a Advance Level 2 at age 5. I have seen him progress from level to level but it was not until this past summer I saw the big picture. We were in Walt Disney World and he as on the water slides with a life vest (for safety & piece of mind of my part) he took the life vest off to diver and swim to us and got back on the water slides. It was not until he was coming down we realized there was no life vest. This was a big and fast water slide. He came down, went under and immediately swim up and to us at the side without a second thought. He has always been able to swim under water short distances but a bit lazy and preferred us to hold him and pull him around the pool. This showed us he can do it. No amount of words can express the appreciation I have for the staff at Miller. He has had a variety of teachers and all have been excellent. He does year round so he does have the same teacher all year with the exception of summer. Four years of lessons and many more to come. I have always found them to be very helpful and friendly. My son broke his arm last summer and they worked with him to swim in his cast. I don't understand the complaints. The are experts in swimming - why would you trust anyone else??? Love them!

I am not sure why the other parents had such a problem with Miller. We LOVE Miller!! My oldest has been attending Miller year round for four years and my youngest for a year and a half. (can't wait for #3 to get here so we can do diaper dolphins) My oldest hated the water when she was 4 and cried during her lessons and yet with the patience of all the teachers and staff there, she has thrived and competed in her first swim meet last night at the age of 8! We have been able to adjust our schedule to have some of the same teachers and when we haven't we have ended up loving the new teachers. I say give Miller another chance!
