First, I would like to start off by saying to not be swayed by the poor review that Jordan w. left below. If you look at his other reviews, none of them have been above a 2 star review. Quick to pass judgement.



Now for my review. I worked with Leah because I was referral to her by a local jeweler. I was having an issue fighting against a internationally-known diamond seller that scammed me into buying a diamond that was misrepresented and worth less than half what was paid. Leah took time to explain every aspect of diamond grading to me and readied me with a diamond report that proved that the diamond was not as described. Because of her report, I was able to get a full refund after over a month of disputing with that company. She obviously takes pride in her work and kept me from falling victim to a company that has scammed so many! Her diamond report was very well done, and I owe her big time! Thank you, Leah!

Long story short. I was told my diamond was an "L" color, not the "H-I" I was told when I bought it 10 years ago. When questioned, they present a tray that purportedly represents each of the various diamond colors. Their "H" and "I" were clearly better than mine. Disappointed, I went to renown Tulsa appraiser Jackie Votava. She verified it was most definitely "H-I". So, beware when selling anything but straight gold. They obviously misrepresent diamond quality and use false pretenses (the tray) to try and back up their claim.

I did a lot of research before selling my gold, silver, and diamonds. I went to three different places to compare their offers. First I went to Tulsa Gold & Gems, then Diamond & Jewelry Buyers, last I went to the Jewelry Buying Company. The first two were okay but basically felt like pawn shops. However, the Jewelry Buying Company offered me the highest amount for my jewelry and had much better service and overall atmosphere. The appraisers there are independent contractors who are experts in gemology. They didn't just evaluate my jewelry as hunks of metal to be melted down, but as pieces of art. I appreciated their professionalism and the overall professionalism of the business. I definitely recommend the Jewelry Buying Company.
