Services/Products
At Home Improvement Ministry, we make a conscious, continual effort to ensure that the counsel as well at the counselor is Christian in nature. Simply put, that means we want our theories, our methods, and our techniques to be pleasing to and honoring of Jesus, our Lord. We offer individual counseling, marriage counseling, family counseling, and blended family counseling. Though we do not do any drug or alcohol treatment, we work with many people whose alcohol or other drug problems are fueling relational problems in their life. And addictive problems always fuel relational problems. Our work can be classified in two different and related categories: inner healing and relational healing. Inner healing is that work which touches the heart and mind of an individual after something destructive has harmed the person. Relational healing is that aspect of our work where we help those with a damaged relationship do what they can to repair and restore that relationship. We help people with communication skills, anger management, conflict resolution, grief resolution, and self-control issues. All of this we do in a Christian context, holding biblical views and values dear.
