Dave is a hoot. He may seem gruff but get to know him and is a fun guy. I call him my Meat nazi (Sienfeld show). It's fun to shop with a local person and someone that trims and cuts just the way you like. My hisband offered Mahoganys for my birthday but I chose one of Daves steaks at home!!!

Dave is a unique person who knows his trade and carries top quality meats. If I want 1.5 inch steaks- no problem. 2"- no problem and I always know it will be hand trimmed and taste great. My family will not consider buying any where else. Do yourself a favor and at the same time support a local businessman

Honestly, I walked into Hanovers for the first time. The man asked me what I wanted. I have a family of 5 and I needed to look around and see what they had. He rolled his eyes at me for asking for a minute to decide. I had my 4 year old daughter with me. After him rolling his eyes, I didn't really want to spend my money there, so I said I would just go. The man seriously started yelling at me and my daughter. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had, and I've never, ever walked into a store and felt like I needed to run from an angry store owner or worker....but I did this time...and then he came outside and started yelling at me while putting my daughter in the car that he's had a bad day...omg...people like this don't deserve one penny of my hard-earned money or anyone's for that matter. What a crazy, angry man to yell at a mom and child....crazy--I'm not exaggerating...beware of him flipping out if you go in the store. He needs a psych eval.
