Recently, Dr. Steven Feher operated on me to repair three hernias. I have been very pleased with Dr. Feher and would like to recommend him to anyone needing surgery. I know that he does a lot of hernia operations, and I am not sure what other type of surgeries that he performs. I started off with an initial visit for him to evaluate my situation. I had two double hernias down low and one hernia up higher on my abdomen. Dr. Feher was very easy to talk to about my hernias. He communicated with me in detail about: my condition, the actual procedure that he would use to do the surgical repair, how long the recovery would take, and that after two weeks I could resume my normal activities. At times he would stop and ask me if I had any questions, and then he would patiently listen and then answer them. At every point I was completely comfortable with him.

The actual operation went exactly as he had said. I stayed in the hospital overnight for them to monitor me and make sure my pain was being managed properly. Dr. Feher visited with my wife in the Waiting Room immediately after my surgery to give her an update and answer her questions. Then he came to visit me in my hospital room to check on me and explain how things went. He even brought a few photos showing me what the mesh and the repair looked like from the inside. Then he came first thing the next morning to see how I was progressing. In summary: I am Extremely Pleased with Dr. Feher! If I ever need a surgeon again I will go to him without hesitation. I highly recommend him. Honestly, I do not know of anything he could have done to improve on the job that he did for me!
