Newcomer International School serves more than 220 students. It offers full-day kindergarten, structured immersion, sheltered English, integrated music, physical education, hands-on science and guidance programs. The school provides targeted English language development skills while addressing the regular academic curriculum. Newcomer International School also offers the English as a Second Language program. Its academic curriculum includes math, science, social studies and English. Located in Tulsa, Okla., Newcomer International School is a part of Tulsa Public Schools, which serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in its elementary, middle and high schools, such as Academy Central Elementary School, Central High School and Byrd Middle School.
