WebsiteDr. Ken Merchant has been serving the Tulsa area for eighteen years. Dr. Merchant was born and raised in the Tulsa area. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1992 from Northeastern State University College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Ok. He also has a B.S. in Vision Science from NSU. Dr. Merchant has participated in four vision mission trips. Three were in Chile, South America. These trips provided eyecare and glasses for over 3,300 patients and were a joint venture between Rotary and V.O.S.H. (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) The fourth trip was coordinated with Just Hope Ministries and the OSU Medical School. This trip served the people of Nicaragua. Dr. Merchant and his wife, Kristi, have been married for 22 years and have two daughters

Provided by SuperpagesDr Merchant is the most patient eye doc I have ever been to. I am 51 years old and I insist on great vision with contacts...but at my age that is a real challenge to see well near and far in contacts. he never gives up trying to help me and always gets me where I want to be. A+++

Provided by SuperpagesDr. Merchant very thorough when doing eye exams. He doesn't just look in you eye he does a complete exam. I have used him since 2003. And would trust him completely

Provided by SuperpagesWonderful Doctor! I have been going to him for 5 years and sent my daughter and other friends to him and he was the best Doctor they have all seen. He even fitted my daughter for contacts and other Doctors were not able to help her.
