Founded in 1986, The Child Abuse Network is an independent, nonprofit corporation that is established by public and private community service agencies. It provides support and facilities for a multidisciplinary team approach to determine abuse and to protect children in crisis. The organization offers medical evaluation, health care and case management services. The Child Abuse Network also provides a court school program and conducts forensic interviews. It is governed by a board of directors and is located in the Justice Center, which is owned by the University of Oklahoma. The Child Abuse Network is located in Tulsa, Okla.
