A nonprofit organization, Central State Community Services Oklahoma is one of the leading human service agencies in the United States. Founded by Joe Horton and Sandra Morrison, CSCS has been operational for more than 25 years. Located in Tulsa, Okla., the organization serves more than 5,000 children, adults and families annually. It is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and National Association for the Education of Young Children. The organization provides a complete range of services, such as behavioral health, individual, group and family counseling, and physical, speech and occupational therapies. CSCS also offers case and pain management, medication reviews, psychological assessments, intensive psychiatric care, homemade meals, and transportation facilities. Additionally, it provides marital counseling, brief therapy services, and life-saving treatments for severe depression and other mental illnesses.
