I had a call in last week for a dog that I found on petfinder.com. I ended up having to call back more than once to talk with someone. The lady said that they just a had a BIG raid and that she couldn't get a hold of the right person to set up a time for the foster parents to bring the dog to them so we could see her and adopt her. Got a call today stating that the foster family has decided to adopt the dog. This family had from December to say if they wanted her or not. My family wanted the dog and when we were ready to adopt her the family decides to keep the dog? I don't believe that foster families should be allowed to adopt the dogs they are fostering and they shouldn't wait until they have had her for so long then when a family decides they want the dog they are going to adopt her.
