Haakenson Group, Inc ( formerly dba Haakenson Government Sales ) has provided furnishings and related services to Government agencies since 1982. The Department of Defense has comprised a large portion of HG's focus over the last 24 years. The experience of serving a customer with a company mission as volatile as waging war has helped HG become a flexible time critical firm ready to perform under logistical and time constrained challenges using creative solutions and approaches to furniture procurement and delivery that are unique to the Contract Furnishings industry. Haakenson Group is the largest volume Contract Furniture Dealership to the Federal Government in Washington State and our partner Knoll is consistently the number one volume manufacturer of furnishings to the Federal Government. Together we offer a full service team able to meet all the requirements of our diverse clients whether the need is one or one thousand items. Every manufacturer that HG represents holds a GSA contract. Haakenson Group understands that many clients are not centrally located making it difficult for them to visit regional showrooms to view products. Due to this HG keeps a relatively small showroom in comparison to standard commercial furniture dealers and instead focuses its resources on bringing samples and representatives to the client where they work. HG makes a point to frequently visit customers in an effort to establish long standing relationships that builds a client's trust.
