Customer Service Out the Door

Instead of taking care of a problem with Scheduling an appointment, I was mislead to think that sticking around would lead to getting my nails filled. First of all, you showing up for an appointment which didn't get saved in the scheduling system is a common error which can occur to anyone, however, they have their clients stick around and wait, then when you least expect it they walk out on you and you're left waiting for no reason without any explaination. Time Wasted, will never go back again.

I was also refferred to this salon by a friend and became friends with the employees, just as all the other customers who visit this salon, do. It is obvious to me that this person has bigger issues than her awful hair. I seriously doubt she will ever find salon that will make her happy with that hair. I am sure the manager realized that , so its best to let these bitter people move and and bring other people down, just like they are. This salon does not need customers like this one. This place is always happy, and upbeat, and assured that all there customers feel the same way. Lady, or sir, what ever you are, please move on or start doing your own hair.

I just want to point out that the two 5 star reviews were posted within 1 day of when I wrote my original 1 star "would not recommend" review. Before my first review, no reviews existed. This is likely due to the fact that when the mgr finally returned my call I promised him I would update my review when I received a refund. More than likely the 5 star reviews were written by the employees themselves or their friends. To date, I still have not received the refund. And in my opinion,... YES one awful stylist, and the poor customer service I experienced afterward when all I wanted was the mgr to assist me in getting it fixed and/or refunded would DEFINATELY put enough doubt to not patron this place.

I am not ranting. And in fact, I have never been picky about my hair cuts at all. In honesty, they did an awful job and then had poor customer service afterward. Tracie may have many return customers whom she treats with care. But obviously as a new customer, she was not interested in my return business. If you do not already have a stylist you have worked and like, and were considering this place, I strongly recommend you think again. I have wasted enough energy on this and have decided to not pursue the refund any longer. This experience has been exhausting.

I dont think it is fair to judge all the great and committed workers because of one bad apple.

Who knows, maybe Tracie was having a bad day or the customer was a total $%&@*. I have had zero problems with my hair dresser and I have numerous friends who also visit the salon for hair, nails and skin and are all satisfied customers. Again a salon should not be judged because of one of its employees. I know alot of Tracies customers and I know she has hundreds of them. And they all are repeat customers. This unhappy customer is one of those individuals that no matter what, can never be pleased!!!

I have nothing but great comments for my experience at X-treme. First of all, the front desk girl, Patty is a sweetheart.

She was curteous and went out of her way to fit me in with David Kin. I have been getting my hair done at different salons all over Tucson, and I have finally found my hair dresser for life. David is very knowledgeable, friendly. He devoted the entire time I was there to making me feel special and beautiful. My hair has never looked so good and I get comments on my cut, color and style, everywhere I go. I would definately recommend X-treme salon without a second thought. Thanks David

I normally do not write reviews, but I felt compelled to write a review b/c of my terrible experience. The stylist that saw me (Tracie) spent the entire time talking to her friend/sister? in the opposite booth while she was cutting my hair. It was very obvious her focus was not on me. I asked for side swept bangs and to keep the length. She gave me flat above the eyebrow bangs, with lots of short layers. I cannot even put my hair into a ponytail. I honestly dont understand how she could have gotten it so wrong! She was not paying attention and it became obvious very quickly. In my experience a $35.00 hair cut should come with the finished style. I specifically had to ask her to dry my hair after she took my robe off with my hair still dripping water. Then to make it worse, she did a poor job using only her fingers to flip the hair around. She did not use a brush at all to help style. I have left a message for the manager that has not been returned. I have very simple hair to work with and am astounded and truly shocked at how poor my experience at this salon was. Save yourself some money. If you dont mind this quality of work, go to a Wal-Mart salon. As far as an nice salon, this place is not worth the gas to get there. I would like to prevent someone from going through this. I have hair that grows fairly quickly, otherwise I honestly might consider suing.

Update: It has now been 5 days. The owner/manager Gabriel never seems to be around and obviously does not bother to return phone calls. I have called at least once per day. Today the receptionist seemed to be annoyed I had dared to call again. PLEASE take my advice. DO NOT GO HERE!
