We have used Sears Appliance Repair since 2008. They have done a first class job taking care of our Dishwasher, Washer and Dryer. Not only have they repaired these appliances, but they have given us valuable tips on the best way to care for them. The technicians have been professional and pleasant to work with. The serviceman was knowledgeable and friendly.. We saved purchasing a brand new dryer by heeding his advice...Our problem was a clogged vent.. After we fixed this ,the dryer is working like it should..

Sears keeps sending me an email to rate them for our A/C repair. We only had a spring check-up, not a repair. So here goes..... The sears tech came from Phoenix. Nice enough. He powered through the check faster than we are used to which is ok as long as he didn't skip or miss anything. The reason why I am only giving 2 stars is because he spent more than 30 minutes afterwards trying to convince us to buy a different kind of warranty for our house, instead of the Sears Home Warranty. He said we couldn't look up the information up on the Sears website and he didn't have any pamphlets with the information. We just had to give him more than $500 dollars. Thought it was a scam and was really surprised that he would do that, being the blue shirt Sears guys.

We called Sears for our first annual check up on our new washer and dryer that is part of our extended service plan. The one item that we wanted addressed was that the door on the front load washer was leaking. The Tech told us that we needed to change the soap we were using. He also stated that even if he changed the door gasket, once hair got into the gasket again, it would leak - so he did nothing. This is not what you want to hear after spending the money on expensive appliances like we did.

I was very pleased with the service even though the reservation person failed to give the serviceman the refrigerator model # etc so that the correct filter was in the truck. The serviceman came back with the filter later that day to correct the error and I was very happy he went to take care of all that for me.

I have been very disappointed with the service repair and the technician. I have voiced on multiple repairs that the ice maker dispenses both cubed and crushed ice which I highly dislike and is not normal. Each time, the technician responds that it is a "Samsung thing" and adds negative comments about the Samsung refrigerator which is not acting in the best interest and representation of Sears and Samsung. I do not want that technician back in my home to do sny service repair work. Very dissatisfied!

Love doing business with Sears, but don't like that I couldn't schedule with a person to discuss the problem I was having...had to do it on line. Had a window of between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm. Finally got a call around 5:30 pm from the tech apologizing that the call just got added to his schedule and he could be there in 20 minutes. The problem that I stated on the on line form was that I believed the dryer tubing/piping had to be cleaned out due to lint build up...the tech (who was great and very professional) said that they don't do that and that we would have to call another company who does that sort of thing. I could have saved the $79.00 service call if I could have talked to a real person when scheduling and they could have told me that. Frustrated.

David arrived on time and fixed my dishwasher closing mechanism. He had to order some parts because the upper blade had come off and it needed some clips. He showed me how to do it myself to save some $ but I will most likely call them back when they arrive. Thanks, Sears!

After a few unsatisfactory repairs from locals I stumbled on the Sears site what a difference. The technician was excellent, did the necessary repair, tidied up and was gone. Now the future is much less daunting with Seers at hand to attend to my appliances.
