Saber Landscapes did a great job! Scott Sawyer listened to what I wanted/needed and designed a beautiful space. The guys were very professional and worked hard to transform a barren desert space into a beautiful outdoor area enjoyed by the whole family – including pets! I would recommend this company for any scope of landscaping service – design, planting, irrigation, and lighting. All of these services were done for me and I’m very satisfied with the outcome. This company was a joy to work with!

I had an inoperative irrigation system in my home that required expert help. I called Scott at Saber Landscaping and found him extremely helpful. He spent about a half hour on the phone with me and gave me several troubleshooting suggestions in an attempt to save him from having to make a service call. Unfortunately my controller box was in need of replacement, and since I was going to be out of town, I made arrangements for Scott to complete the necessary work the following week.
Not only did he and his team do a thorough job, he called me while he was on site to communicate his diagnosis, offer up repair options and answer my questions. Scott completed the work on time to the estimate we discussed and sent me a timely invoice. If you are an out of town owner, you should feel comfortable calling Scott and the Saber Landscaping team; they did a great job and I was very satisfied. I highly recommend them!!

I had a great experience today, thanks to Scott, the owner of Saber Landscaping. I installed my own system about 8 years ago and recently had problems with the control box giving me error messages. I tried trouble shooting and had no luck. I called Saber and it turns out I got Scott. He asked what the problem was, then what brand controller I had. He then told me my Hunter control boxes had this problem when they got old. He said he could fix it but if I had installed the system I could probably do it myself and gave me a reference to a couple of controllers. He lost a sale but made a big fan! Thanks, Scott!

Our back yard was about as bare bones as it gets. Scott came up with two different designs for us to review. We decided which one we wanted and we are absolutely thrilled with the final product. We never in a million year thought are yard could look so beautiful! Scott was very thorough in explaining every step of the project and there were no surprises. I fully endorse Saber Landscapes!

Owner Scott, is a great guy to work with. Had wonderful ideas for a troubled back yard. He and his crew have made my property a joy to relax and to entertain family and friends.

Scott is a very personable person and met us at our house on a Saturday afternoon and showed us binders full of pictures of his work. It was really nice to be able to see the work he had done at previous clients which not only showed us the quality of his work but also helped us determine what we wanted to do with our backyard. While sitting with us he did a rough sketch of what we told him we wanted and then took a few days to put together a full blown final design.



Scott's final design for our backyard was awesome and his guys made it come to life. They will make sure that the work is done correctly, if something isn't quite right they'll make sure it is perfected (I think they moved our boulders 3 or 4 times before we felt they were placed just right). Scott and his crew are extremely knowledgeable in all that they do (plants, hardscapes, irrigation, etc) and will gladly answer any of your questions.



What work was done:

- Created a beautiful extended patio

- Graded and created drainage swells (our yard had a major drainage problem)

- Put in a fountain

- Put in a low voltage lighting system for path lighting and feature spotlights on a timer/light sensor

- Extended our drip system from the front yard to the back yard

- Created mounding

- Brought in and place boulders

- Put down a flagstone path

- Put in a fence for a dog run

- Put in rock

-Planted a Tangelo (tree), Photinia (shrubs and trees), Bottlebrush (trees), Star Jasmine (vine), Japanese Boxwood (shrub), Mock Orange (shrub), prostrate myoporum (ground cover)

My past few years relationship with Saber Landscapes, Inc. has been great. They are on-time, thorough, and Scott is well-versed on the property so projects are done with both our input, thus ensuring results that are pleasing to our family. When emergencies have arisen such as tree-root intusion on our irrigation system, and a tree landing in our pool during a tornado/windstorm, Saber Landscapes responded the same day, within an hour or two. It is a comfort to know you can rely on your landscaper- they are considered part of our extended family.

We were new to Tucson/Marana area & tried several companies before stumbling onto Scott & crew. Responsive & dependable workcrew. Homeoffice is also top-notch! Won't disappoint.

i second all hearty endoresements of saber. my 88 year old mother uses them and finally has found a company she can deal with! saber is the first outfit ever to actually come when they say they are going to come, which suits my mother's incredibly busy lifestyle. plus, they do a wonderful job, and scott has been very understanding when it comes to dealing with a 88 year old who knows her own mind...five stars from here.

I have been using Saber Landscaping for years. They are very dependable and knowledgeable. When ever I have had a concern or question over the years, Scott the owner has always called me back and been willing to come over and look at a sick tree or any other problem. The crew that comes to my house is ALWAYS very polite, professional and efficient. They do an excellent job of cleaning up my yard and they do it quickly so I feel I really get my monies worth. I have used Saber Landscapes for 6yrs and have no complaints. Any calls with questions I had were quickly taken and quickly and effeciently handled. The crew is friendly and helpful. I don't worry about the yard when I am gone for the summer. Saber was my first choice when we moved here and it remains my only choice.

We went through five Tucson-area landscape companies before hearing about Saber. Finding a company that was reliable and customer oriented with reasonable rates was apparently a tall order. We were introduced to Saber Landscapes through an ad when we first moved to Tucson in early 2001 and needed landscaping for our new home. Being totally unfamiliar with desert landscaping and drip systems, we relied totally on Scott. He designed a great backyard and fulfilled all my requests: planters and a water feature, raised patio and paths. We trusted him so much after talking with him that we had Saber do the work while we were away for the summer. Scott sent regular update photos and videos. We were SO pleased when we returned home. Since then, the Saber crew maintains our yard as a partnership with me as I love to garden. We have also done several additional projects, including a courtyard, additional planters, and a new pathway. Scott and his crew are ALWAYS immediately responsive to questions and requests. Worth every penny!

Saber Landscapes installed a complete yard reconstruction. New irrigation lines, sunken patios, outdoor kitchen, whole property lighting, extensive landscape planting, and helped me create a fabulous natural area between our neighbors that incorporates winding pathways thru an area I personally plant called My Secret Garden. This garden redesign won the Judge's Award in the Arizona Excellence in Landscaping Awards Program and was in the Tucson Lifestyle Magazine this year. We weren't going for the win, I simply wanted to create a serene space that my family would enjoy year round and extend the living space outdoors.



I consulted many firms before choosing Saber Landscapes. They weren't the least expensive, but they were far from the most expensive. Some of these companies are way out of line with price quotes. With Saber, I found I got what I paid for and they stand behind their work. If you have a problem, Saber shows up to take care of it as part of their guarantee. Pretty nice when so many companies are going out of business and you can't even reach them again.



I love my garden and spend many pleasurable hours there because of all the efforts by Saber Landscapes and their great team of installers and maintenance crew.
