I love the SAUCE!

A deep dish and a stuffed Chicago style pizza with a crust that is not tough or soggy. Crisp, almost flakey and delicious. You won't want to leave the crusts on the plate. Loaded with cheese and a delicious sauce, rich with garlic. The thin pizza is great too, but you don't get enough of the crust. Always treat you like family.

Awesome Pizza, Service A Bit Lacking

I'm very glad I found Rocco's on one of my trips to Tucson. Since then, it's been a must-go on subsequent trips, as the pizza is awesome and among the best I've ever had. The only caveat I have is that each time I've gone, the customer service could be better. It's ranged from indifference to just a generally surly attitude, but the pizza easily makes up for it.

I usually get the stuffed crust, and it's been universally delicious each time. Usually when a pizza has chunks of tomato included in the sauce, I will remove the biggest pieces, but despite their presence in the Rocco's sauce, they don't bother me in the slightest. Even the crust, typically the weakest part of any pizza, is very good. Perhaps not good for you (scratch that, definitely not good for you), but well-worth eating, or to use a more appropriate term, devouring. Their breadsticks are also quite good.

So to summarize: despite the attitude of (some of) the employees, the pizza is more than delicious enough to make up for it. If you're a pizza fan (especially of deep dish), you have blasphemed if you go to Tucson and don't go to Rocco's!
