Bought an 8,000 watt Generac generator at Lowe's and paid extra for the 3 year extended warranty. Ran the machine to power our house until we could get solar power installed. After 6 months the machine quit. We first took it to the nearest supposed Generac authorized repair shop an hour away in rural Arizona. In one day they told us that the governor had failed and enough damage had been done to the machine that the repairman felt that we deserved a new machine from Generac. Then his boss later told him that they no longer do work for Generac (even though the shop was on Generac's approved repair shop list) and we were told we'd have to take it to a different repair place. We took it to the next closest place, Precision Outdoor Power in Tucson, which is 2 hours away. It took them a month, after numerous phone calls to them, to tell us that it had been used too much and the warranty was no good. (It took a month for them to decide it even though the machine has an hour meter on it that could have been read on the first day and compared with the purchase date). Now Precision Outdoor Power tells us that it will cost us $60 to pick up the no good generator for a total cost $75, all of which we assumed would be covered by the warranty. We will NEVER buy another Generac generator and we will, for sure, pursue more avenues to gain satisfaction regarding Generac and Precision Outdoor Power than just writing this review. Seems outrageous to me. Good luck if you deal with either business.

I just brought my chain saw in to sell on consignment and the front desk people were happy to help me. They made a reasonable offer and got me cash fast. I would recommend this store to anyone trying to sell there equipment.

I first dealt with Precision when they helped me to find parts for my mower. When I needed to get a weed eater I returned to them and they suggested an electric model (since I don't use it very often and have a small yard) and it was the best purchase I ever made. I recommend this store to any one wanting to purchase or that has outdoor power equipment.
