Always fantastic food for a great price, especially when Quincy is in the kitchen.

I also use Mei Hon for Catering professional lunch events that is also very competitive pricing for absolutely delicious food.

never eat here

Never, and I mean EVER, eat at Mei Hon. If the exterior alone is not enough to scare you away, then this review should be.

The food, the service, the tables and the bathroom--all hideous! I needed counseling to get over a Mei Hon lunch experience.

If you are still tempted to eat here, please come to my house instead. I can serve you Alpo that is more appetizing.

I want to apologize for insulting the manufacturer of Alpo dog food by comparing it to Mei Hon. Mei Hon is much worse.

Stop - Don't Go To Anywhere Else

I hate to write about anything, but I saw 2008 rev. W/1star. I live on the far e.side Tucson where the old MeiHon used to be. I was crushed when it closed a few yrs. ago, as I didn't know their original location was on Irvington. Found Mei Hon two days ago accident. I'm home!! I got there @8:55pm on a MONDAY! They close@9:00pm, I'm thinking end of night I was sure I was getting left-overs. No way! My food was so hot, I couldn't hold the bag. O M G, my House Lomein, House Fried Rice, Egg Flower Soup, and Won Ton Soup were SLAMMIN! Just completely off the hook. I mean the food actually was actually flavorful, and I had so much meat in my dishes, almost every if not every bite had meat and they weren't chincy with the shrimp. Everything was authentic with the right and appropriate ingredients for Chinese. They weren't being lazy and use less or even leave out ingredients, trying to pass it off as Chinese when its actually mixed up and made with Thai or whatever ingredients like some places. I have been to nine Chinese rest. In my area alone From Broadway/C.Seco to Harrison to Houghton to Golf Links to Craycroft in my area. Th. at don't include Speedway-UA or N.West areas. All those restaurants need to come here so they understand what a great restaurant is=Awesome food, made fresh and hot, with the right ingredients, with super huge portions, killer prices for what you get, and last that A+ make you feel like family service. They were super nice and friendly. I finally found my home. Their is one other Chinese rest., on 22nd/Kolb that's ok, but they ain't nothing like Mei Hon so they ain't getting my biz except if emergency in case Mei Hon isn't open or something. Otherwise I'll be back I don't care how far I drive. I ate those portions for two more days w/out griping a bit. This is why I don't write nothing-it takes to dog gone long. But I had to set the truth straight so folks don't miss out on this place cause of that review.
