Consumers Beware – these people are irresponsible. I went to see them for a check-up. I had what looked like a wart on my hand. The doctor I saw looked at it, said it was probably a wart and asked me if I wanted to take it off. I was in a bit of a rush that day and said no maybe next time. When my next check-up came round he said well maybe we should remove it after all. After sending it for biopsy, it turned out to be a Squamous cell carcinoma. I then went back to have it removed and he said he would “scrape and burn it off”. I said are you then going to send it off for further tests and he said no. I asked how would he know if he had got it all and he just looked at me without answering. At this point I walked out and went finished up at the UMC where I had it removed properly and professionally. He never considered mohs surgery he was just going to hope for the best. From consulting with other doctors, I’m told that this is about as irresponsible as it gets. And if the cancer returned because he didn’t get good margins? C’est la vie – wouldn’t be traceable back to these people. DO NOT GO HERE!!

I recently had a Radiesse treatment from Dr. Sheftel and the results were great! I was not sure when I went to the office which type of filler would be best for me. After talking with Dr. Sheftel I decided that Radiesse was the best for the improvements that I wanted. I often have trouble with pain and there was little to none during the treatment. Also the healing was quick, within 48 hours the slight bruising and swelling were gone. I am grateful for Dr. Sheftel's knowledge and handling of the whole procedure.

Dr. Sheftel is an amazing doctor who truely cares deeply about the well being of his patients. His office is warm and welcoming. I would recommend his office for anyone in need of a dermatologist.
