Fry's pharmacy at 7050 E. Golf Links

Hi,

I just visited the pharmacy at Golf Links and Kolb to fill a prescription. I asked the lady if she could have this filled while I wait as I was on my lunch hour and I only have a half hour lunch break. My doctor had already faxed two other prescriptions to this location earlier today and they were all set to go as I got a call from the pharmacy that said they were ready.



She went over to the pharmacist and asked him if he could fill it right away so I wouldn't have to make an additional trip back to Fry's.



She said he could not do it then and that it would be 45 minutes. I could not wait 45 minutes due to my short lunch break.



I left the pharmacy and advised the lady that they run a rotten pharmacy.



So now I have to make another trip back to the pharmacy.



When I got back to my office and called the Fry's pharmacy at 520-745-2205 and asked the name of the pharmacist on duty. I was put on hold for several minutes. Another lady who identified herself as Tina asked what she could help me with. I asked her the name of the pharmacist on duty and she said that she was. I then asked the name of the older man who was there - she asked me why I wanted his name. I advised her that I was going to post feedback on Fry's website about my recent experience. She then said his name was Tom, I asked for his last name and she said it is Jone - she spelled it for me. Tina was very polite and told me to have a good day.



I think that Tom Jone should be working with customers to assist them with the best possible service - it is obvious that Mr. Jone does not share my opinion.



I understand that this pharmacy processes many prescriptions on a daily basis but I feel he should have been a little flexible since I was willing to wait a few minutes, but not 45 minutes due to my half hour lunch.



I will no longer be using Fry's Food store pharmacy in the future because of Mr. Tom Jone. I do not think he has customer interests in mind while performing his duties.

There were not any customers in line to pick up prescriptions and there were two other persons on duty. Actually there was another pharmacist on duty while I was there as Tina told me she was a pharmacist - so there were two pharmacists when I asked if could be filled quickly.



My wife and I have done business with Fry's pharmacy for many many years, but not anymore.



I have done business with CVS pharmacy in the past and I will do so in the future as they care about their customers - unlike Mr. Tom Jone.

When I use to bring in prescriptions to CVS - they would notify the pharmacist that I would be waiting for it in the store. They do this for all customers who are waiting. They usually fill the prescription while I wait in less than 10 minutes - not 45 minutes. CVS has provided this service to my wife and me on numerous occasions - why? Because they value their customers - not like Mr. Tom Jone.



I am an unsatisfied and soon to be a former customer of Fry's pharmacy.



Now, I have to take time and drive back to Fry’s to pick up my prescriptions when I feel this could have been handled in a much more professional manner on Mr. Jone’s part.
