I purchased a Groupon for Excellent Housecleaning for $75 for a 3 hour housecleaning session of a ($150 value). I made the appointment in June and they could get me in 2 weeks later. I was not given a time that they would come, but told I would be called before the date. I was called around 8:30 in the evening the night before, but was not able to answer the phone. The message stated that since I did not answer my reservation would be cancelled. I called at 8:00 a.m. the following morning and was told my reservation was cancelled. After giving the owner my name, she mistook me for someone else and I had to tell her several times that I wasn't the person she was thinking I was. She was very rude during this conversation. After she figured out which reservation I was, I was rescheduled for several weeks later. I would have liked to cancel, but she made it sound like I wouldn't get my money back if I did. I did not receive a confirmation call, so I called the afternoon before and did not reach anyone. I called the day of the appointment and the owner said that she did not see my appointment on her screen. She said that she would call me back in an hour to let me know. She did not call me back. I called several times and left messages to call me back with my number and reason. The owner never called me back and they did not show up. I was able to get my money back from Groupon in form of credit.
