Erica Laber, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician with a special interest in adolescent medicine and weight management. As a pediatrician, Dr. Laber believes in open communication with families and strives to make them feel comfortable to ask questions and speak freely. “I love doing family-centered decision making,” Dr. Laber said. “I want parents to feel empowered to ask any questions they have.” One of her favorite things about being a pediatrician is making a difference, especially for teenagers. She also enjoys meeting families, including those with infants, and guiding their health as their children grow. Dr. Laber earned her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2012. She then completed a residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New York, where she also participated in an adolescent medicine fellowship. Originally from Tucson, Dr. Laber returned and obtained her MBA from the Eller School of Business at the University of Arizona in spring 2019. Most recently, she served as a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics and enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
