Provided by YP.comI bought a new 2014 Tundra last year and loved the purchase experience. However, absolutely every dealing with the SERVICE DEPARTMENT has been a disappointment. At best, they are slow to return calls... but sometimes never return call without a follow up call by me. (This has happened several times.)
I called yesterday (at 10:15 AM) to make an appointment for several warranty items and a recall notice. The assistant could not schedule this, so she PROMISED that somebody would call me back. (I specifically asked, "today?"... "oh yes as soon as they get off another call".) As I type this today (at 9:30 AM), I still have not gotten a call yet. Sadly, I predicted this yesterday as I shared my experience with coworkers.
By the way - I'm scheduling repair work for my remote starter for the third time. I should not have paid them $500 to have it installed by a contractor. I could have gotten it done cheaper, and without the middle-man bad service of Toyota.

Well, we've been having our Toyotas services at Desert Toyota for decades and have never been disappointed. They wash my car for me. How cool is that?

I appreciate that I have had the same service representative since I purchased my car and she knows me by name and knows my car. She treats me with the utmost respect and acknowledges all my concerns.

My salesperson at Desert Toyota was hands down the best salesperson I have bought a vehicle from. Personable, not pushy, honest and straight forward. He made me feel comfortable during the entire purchase. I will definitely be keeping in touch and purchasing my future vehicles from Will.

Provided by YP.comI have never had such horrible service when buying a car in my life. BEWARE! Do NOT buy a used car from this business! I will break down my buying experience, and hope you take caution when dealing with these people. First off, during the sales process, they showed us a vehicle that had "just come in", found out later they had it for days. It was dirty inside, but we were solidly assured it would be professionally detailed BEFORE we picked it up in 4 days. It was not. That actually took 2 weeks. Then they promised the passenger sliding door would be repaired, as well as a rip in upholstery, and the AC. We addressed these issues with salesman, sales manager, and finance, all assured us it would be fixed no problem. AFTER we signed all papers and the deal was done suddenly the cost of the repairs was too high and they did not want to do them. The used car manager, Tommy, was very rude when we called, even yelled at myself,, and my husband. Finally 7 weeks after the purchase, and our trade in was sold, they got the repairs done. In addition, they took 6 weeks to get our plate to us, and only gave us a 2 week temp, which expired, and wee had to MAKE them get us another (they are too cheap to pay the $8). They told us they were doing a safety inspection, and oil change, and held it for 3 days...for a safety inspection and oil? Yet, when it was returned the windshield fluid was EMPTY, brake fluid almost empty, and transmission fluid less than half. A major part of a safety inspection is topping off ALL fluids, which tells me it wasn't done. In addition our oil light was on, and we came to find out they didn't change it, only added oil! After they finally did the ac repair they promised, with much argument, the van started having throttle issues, and fuel injection. Mind you this van is only 4 years old. Now, in less than a week, the van is unsafe to drive. The dash warning lights are ALL lit up, thee speedometer and RPM gauges do not work, as well as gas gauge, the gear indicators are all lit, so you cannot tell which gear you are in, the airbag lights are on, and the bags will not engage in an accident, and it keeps wanting to stall, as well as spitting out thick, black exhaust that sticks to my driveway. I took the van to our long time mechanic and they informed me that it appears no safety inspection had been done at all, and the oil was not changed. So Precision lied about that. Finally we paid a LOT of money for a bumper to bumper warranty, and found out the company they use covers very little, putting the expenses on us. Buyers beware, do NOT buy from these crooks! Royal Kia was far better.

The facility was clean and welcoming. The staff left something to be desired but the facility was very welcoming with complimentary snacks and coffee while you wait.

Provided by YP.comThey charge outrageous prices for parts and labor, and then call you and tell you the parts will take a week to get here with no loaner car. Also, they suggested putting an Aftermarket part in, with no warranty and said they could get it done by the end of the day which was at 6 P.M. They told me that at 4 pm, but they haven't started the work yet, but still insist on charging for "3" hours of labor.....hmmmm?...where I come from, that is only 2 hours .....OUTRAGEOUS!
Upon paying for the repairs a week later,I get in my vehicle, and the battery was dead. They told me that "I" left the "Cargo light:?" on and that it was basically my fault. Hmmmm?...the vehicle was there for a week, and they brought the vehicle to the front for my pickup, and I picked it up the next morning, and it's my fault?, they should have charged the battery!. So after another 30minutes or so, it was "Jumped", and they told me that it was a new battery so I could just get another. I drove it for about 30 minutes, went to the Auto parts store, where they tested it, and said that it would probably be alright if they charged it, but they would give me a new one just to be on the safe side...When I got home, I looked at the "feedback" card in which it had the "Service Manager's" name on it for the feedback, and called and asked for him. I can tell you that if there was anyway that I could have recorded the conversation, he would be out or a job. He told me that the "Battery is dead".....get a new one, and "MOVE ON!"...We are planning a purchase of a Corolla real soon, and I will take his advice to heart and...."MOVE ON" to the other dealership, after all, it has to be better that this!.....can't be any worse!...
